I think on outsoles like these, they're stitched to the upper itself, and so if you get in that dam where the thread sits and can just start tearing it loose, each stitch should be able to be pulled out one by one therafter

Does anyone know what the part on the tongue where the laces overlap called? It's like in the mid section of the tongue and the laces go through them from both sides of the eyelets. Thanks you in advance if anyone can tell me.

you use an exacto knife, and cut around the top of the rubber, theres only a small layer of glue holding it together so its pretty simple, if you need to watch someone do it, go check out Freehand profit productions channel there are some vids showing how he deconstructs shoes start to Finnish
