I like how skinny or slim jeans emphasize the bulk of the shoe, that's part of the charm for me. And those laces have no grip, if you want the knot to hold you almost have to double knot it unless you want to retie them every hour.

I remember getting 2 a month when they were $40-60. The low price back in the day is what I think made the AF1 a crisp only shoe.

Bought my first pair almost a year ago and I usually wear them when I know I’m going to do alot of walking like going to the mall or run errands. It’s rare when I wear them, but they’re comfortable! I work at a restaurant with heavy duty boots on my feet and to finally wear them AF1s is heaven on my feet!

To be honest, a lot of people can pull off the looks you crossed out. Also, nothing wrong with keeping pairs fresh; it's called being neat. Lastly, soleshields are often applied to make the shoes life longer and avoid heel drags. I think the better mistake done in this video is the guy at right's beanie. :))

I actually took a pic of a dude’s AF1’s on the train one day. They were so beat down that I had to do a triple take. I had never seen someone rocking AF1’s that were that dirty, not even homeless people or construction workers. And the dude didn’t seem broke, his attire was clean for the most part but those Air Forces were a crime against humanity.

I’ve owned Forces for nearly 2 years now and I genuinely can’t replace them. Seriously. I’ve had a countless memories as I wore them on parties, dates, played ball in them, I did almost everything you could think of. And yeah despite them not looking as fresh as they were right out of the box, I still enjoy wearing them. No worries I still keep them look somewhat crisp but I honestly don’t care.

Can't remember the last time I tied either of my lows, I always just slip them on. I have two pairs of lows, and theyre both pure beaters. One pair black and white w gum-soles - my first ever pair but they got holes and shit now. The second pair is some army green gum-sole customs that I specifically designed as beaters, and they go hard with almost any outfit. I wear them to work, in the snow, in the rain and the weathering actually compliments the army colourway. They look like Gore-tex on a budget, plus my custom tag. Those are my beaters, but I do have the all-white high tops too, and they're ONLY for special occasions, dates and/or beautiful weather, usually worn with True Religions or Get Me Flys. The white high-tops I do my utmost to keep as clean crispy as possible, which means they stay in the closet on the rack until the time comes.

Thats crazy 2 pairs a week? Imagine everybody that does that.. our oceans are gonna be filled with rubber soles😢
