I truly admire your ingenuity and execution! Some of us who have access to and own lots of stuff simply shut down and don’t get the job done when we “need” another tool or machine to do the task. Not you!
Hello Excellent solution. Do you have any idea what pressure it applies? I saw a press in a book by George Kollef (master shoe maker) some years back- It was a tank with a rubber membrane that you press the sole onto. The tank is filled with water and so provides a very even pressure across the whole sole. If I find it I will let you know as you would like it. Best wishes from UK.
Thanks. Will certainly love to see fr plan for that press. I am not sure how much pressure the rubber band exacts but I think its enough just going by feeling.
This is very lovely. Please how long should one leave the tube tied to the shoe before removing it? And how much is the shoe press you want to sell if i can afford it?
