Shoeless Joe Jackson Card Show and Tell, Plus A Little Joe Jackson History 

Hey guys. I watched the video and realized I messed up the name of the set of the famous Babe Ruth card. It was the Baltimore News set. I inadvertently said Boston News. Sorry about that.

This video has so much that I love about this hobby. A well informed collector not just sharing his fascinating cards… but his ENORMOUS knowledge base with the community. I learned so much, Tony. I loved the magazine with the original Conlon image and the comparison to the strip card. I loved the details on Shoeless Joe’s life and times (and bat!). This is a thought provoking home run effort. I’m so glad you made it.

Great to see you on RU-vid! Hard Ban from MLB and the Hall on both Shoeless Joe and Rose. Gambling can destroy the sport and given the new risk of players surrounded by it, the penalty needs to be harsh. Joe Jackson is the more sympathetic tragic hero while Rose continued to bury himself.
