Ohtani knows how to answer without seeming like a braggart or giving away something that would be a slight to anyone including his current teammates. As for the look, that suit looks good on him--classy, stylish and fitted right, with a nice subtle color and sheen to it. Previous outfits he wore on the red carpet, not so much. This year's look is conservative but real classy. Of course, it helps to have a good face and body for such an outfit to look its best. That's just reality.

I am pretty sure Shohei's clothing are made from one of his sponsors. Companies are fighting teeth and nails to get this guy to be their spokesperson. What he made from sponsorship is more than the 30 mil he's been getting paid by the Angels.

Harold does a good job. I can understand why Greg would ask the questions he did, but they don't seem to mesh well with Ohtani. The literal translation of Ohtani's answers show, IMO, how disinterested in the questions he was. In response to the clothes question: Shohei: "Eh, I don't know. I'd hope so, though." (Ippei: "I'm not really sure about that. I hope it is!") In response to the team uniform question: Shohei: "Dunno." (Ippei: "Only time will tell") Ippei does a good job of naturalizing his speaking style to what sports reporters expect. Though I think Ohtani's words showed an extra level of disinterest. When Harold asked his questions he seemed more into it.
