This is a color belt test manual for beginners. This is very good advice. I'll summarize. concept of the whole *Practice is the most important thing. But more important than that is the relationship between karate and everyday life. *the correct bodily position and structure. Both strength and variability are fundamental. *Technique is experience, but "kiai" and "eye aim" are universal elements at all levels. *The basics for the basics are meaningless. Everything should complete the connection to Kumite.
Unfortunately the only kyokushin school that i've found so far near me (20 mins away) is terrible :( I would love to have a school like this in my area to train!
@hardyexehe said' whenever you do kihon, every movement must be finished by1 breath. you have to imagine opponent same size as you standing in front of you.purpose of karate training is make impossile to possible. white belt can yell very loud.so even though you can't do technique, you must yell loud kiai.sanchin dachi connected to every stance.kokutsu dachi, kumite no dachi, zenkutsu dachi.kihon, it all goes to kumite. seiken is power concentrate into center of fist.shuto is opposite.
It is sad that the many branches of kyokushin cannot look upon each other as brothers. Kikuko (Kuristina) Oyama is associated with the original IKO Kyokushin kaikan Honbu. That shoud be the the Honbu that the other branches should recognize as the one. Sadly, the different organizations often shun each other and generally refuse to recognize each other as legitimate organizations representing the original Kyokushin organization.
get Mas Oyama's book - it has the subtitles. This ain't rocket science - once learned, you do not need subtitles - muscle memory kicks in (or kicks out).
Image same size opponent ,when u do basic.and white belt time don't have technique much.but u can do only lauder during basic. Something like through my translate.Osu. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IggWToPtAIU.html
then learn Japanese. in most good dojo you have to learn some Japanese anyways. you have to know how to count in Japanese. know the commands the sensei says which are in Japanese and the names of the techniques which are in Japanese.
