I like how Takumi, while competitive, is a good sport. He had plenty of time to get rid of the kaki no tane, but he didn't, and he even apologized when he crushed it by accident. I like him
True competition's motive is to check your own skills by comparing them with the best of another. That's why cheating is wrong - it means you're in a contest for the glory, not the true spirit of finding your ranking.
you'd think a cooking anime wouldn't be interesting but dam between the prep animation and the judging I was into this manga/anime from start to finish
