It's these sort of moments that make me love this show. I used to think that Takumi's tactic here was somewhat cheating, but it is actually strategy, and a very good one at that.

On a side note, a round of applause to our workhorse Subaru Mimasaka. He gracefully declined a seat to work on coming up with his own style outside of his trace ability, wore out of the top ten members in bout 2 with his perfect trace flash (to where lets face it he wasn't at top notch during the butter fight), and was willing to not let any hard grudges be had by showing Aldini his tricks that led to Subaru winning during the fall selection. It's a good thing when a former enemy makes it clear the former part is literal and wants to be an ally and friend.
