Just happen to come across your review of sholay. Its an Indian cult classic from the 70s. The actors are all MASSIVE stars and most of them are still alive today. Cheers
@@ChaatNChat So you are half Indian just curious whether your father or mother is Indian? Also do you understand hindi? Anyways keep going love your reaction by a random guy from delhi🎉
fun fact: every dialoge of this movie became classic.. and every character (smallest role of 1-2 mins) of this movie became iconic.. which made every actor in this movie famous and landmark in their career..
I saw that they made an album release of just famous dialogue from this movie. I mean that just says everything right there! Thanks for the info! If you haven't already please consider subscribing :)
Yes.. and that whole village was made up by the film crew.. and every actor lived there in those huts throughout the shooting of the film.. (You can find these facts in behind the scene videos..idk if they are available on YT or not..).. and Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) wore the same dress throughout the whole movie.. so that it look dirty & genuine..
Wow... that means they didn't wash it the whole time? I hope they were spraying him regularly with perfume hahah. I have never seen behind the scenes of it but thank you so much for all the cool facts!
Great selection guys diving straight into the classic , i remember watching it in theatre when they re-released it in 3D n the whole theatre experience was bananas
I bet! If they ever do something like that in theaters in our area we are 100% going! Please consider following us for more videos that we release through the week!
U can have paan without the teeth destroying 'choona' and 'katha', it is supposed to be a pure mouth freshner after meals and is actually very refreshing juicy and tasty, but ppl over decades have added things for extra 'zinng' 😋
This was India's take on the western genre. It was inspired from Akira Kurosawa's seven samurai which later inspired the magnificent seven in Hollywood. Also there are lot of things that are inspired/pay homage to the kind of movies sergio leonne was making at that time.
Asrani had read Mein kampf when he was offered the role. He was so impressed with hitler’s personality that he impersonated his look and speaking but made it intensely funny.
one advantage of understanding normal common people's level hindi is u can understand standard sanskritized hindi, standarised urdu, awadhi, braj bhasha, bhojpuri, maithiti, marwari and other hindi region languages, and other non hindi north indian languages somewhat
Did you stay in India for a while because you seemed to have referred to it. Sholay had initially bombed at the box office in the 1st week of its release due to it getting panned by the critics. The director had planned to change the ending and re-release it BUT as luck would have it from 2nd week onwards word of mouth publicity made it one of the greatest hits in the cinematic history of the world
That is so interesting! Yeah, I went to high school in Delhi and then moved to Noida for a couple years for an art school. Thank you for taking the time to comment! I love hearing all of this info.
The inspector in charge of transporting the thieves from one prison to another would not have the keys, to ensure they don't escape. The keys in all probability are at the prison they are being transported to.

*If you people want to eat Pani Puri then come to India and eat it. You will not get that taste in packet food. Nowadays, Pani Puri made with semolina is also available which is better than these*
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 That was funny. Definitely the best pani puri you will get would be in India but if you are not able to get there... it really wasn't thaaaaat bad lol. Man I cracked up at your comment lol 😂
@@ChaatNChat 😂😂😂😂 *Yes, absolutely no one will come to India just to eat pani puri. But what I meant was that if you ever come to India, you should definitely eat Pani Puri here*
What a gem of a channel you’ve got! First Hera Pheri and now I’m watching this, it’s also so cool hearing about your grandfather. You could also react to some music videos like Joota Japani, Khatta Flow and Overdrive by the rapper KR$NA, you might get a whole wave of new viewers you haven’t yet catered to:D Namaskaram.
OMGOSH! I can't believe you mentioned Mera Joota hai Japani! I absolutely love that song!!! Shri 420.... what an amazing guy Raj kapoor was. I used to sing this song non-stop after I heard it. I am literally doing this reaction today because I am so excited for it.... This song and my next fav is from "blackmail" pal pal dil ke paas. I sing that one all the time too (I'm not a great singer but when a song is stuck in my head they say that helps lol)
I really appreciate your compliments and since I got my start watching Bollywood movies with the classics I wanted to share that same experience with Aaron. I know they are not the most popular today but I feel like it is something that needs to be shared and appreciated!
Hey just saw your review on Hera Pheri you know there is a part 2 called Phir Hera Pheri i think you should check it out as well i bet you would like it😁
