Religion is for those who don't want to go to hell. Spirituality is for those who've been there. My hunch is that this dear man understands and communicates these laws so well because he has had the opportunity to learn the hard way. Well expressed.
Very interesting views! I didn't know much about Jewish laws and I am delightfully surprised at how similar the rules of modesty are to my own religion (Islam). Also in Islam a man is not allowed to shake the hand or otherwise touch a woman who is not his wife or who is not related to him. I think that we could all grow closer if we took the time to learn about our similarities and build from there. Shalom Aleichem/Salam Alaikom!
