Wish I cud sing it in a lil higher scale ..she is the true star here ..she is way better singer.. I really don’t consider myself a good singer.. so definitely priority goes to her.. i tried to create a catchy pop melodic phrases .. juxtaposing two different worlds .. but of course staying in the scale of yaman. But shifting its tonic or root ..something like cubist painting .. where u get multiple perspectives.. maybe I’ll do video explaining it .. if u have heard tomar jonno .. it has the similar approach when I sing I use notes of yaman or Lydian scale ..but when the classical melody comes in it’s in Bharavi . One raag for the dawn another for dusk.. that what creates the magic.. it’s really subtle .. anyways apart from all that theories n all this is actually our story.. how I met her in Santiniketan .. amazed by her classical training n me coming from Dhaka ..with guitar n all .. doing all these pop/ rock / folk fusion .. completely from 2 different worlds n practices .. but Co-existing together even having our differences.. art / music can do that.. I guess .. then wanting to collaborate with her .. falling in love ..n all .. I was actually worried jumping straight from folk to classical ..classical music is like ocean .. trying out ourselves first.. testing the water.. I like ur constructive criticism.. thanks again for participating!! Adit did a fantastic job.. U sud sud listen to ‘lokkhitera’ .. that’s Kishon khan’s band.. Latin jazz with bangla melody.. he is from London ! ❤ plz do Share the link of andolan .. It was crazy for me to sing without my guitar n keeping up sunidhi .. pheww!! It was something so challenging n new.. but was a great experience 😅
We are humbled! Arnob bhai musically we are not learned enough to even talk about your music let alone criticizing it! We are not critics. We are just two avid listeners of music and that is all! We love your music and voice to the core and many of our videos are example of that. Thank you so much for sharing all the intricate details around this track. The entire Coke Studio Bangla team is doing phenomenal job and receiving admiration globally. We just comment from a listeners perspective (and we are probably not that good at that too 😀). That being said, here is the link for Andholan from Mekaal Hasan Band of Pakistan that you requested. We both love it and hope that you would like it too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nGRSsOtQOKI.html
Thank you BHAI to make our Bengali Music into International Level. Bhabi was did Amazing in this song. Absolutely she is the star here. Best of luck for the next Composition.
I'm watching your video at 7:30 a.m. in Bangladesh. Sunidhi dominated the show with her confidence and stage presence, but Arnob is Arnob. Everything he does, no matter how ordinary and common it is, has a magical ring to it. Anyways, Take Love from Bangladesh ❤️
Fusion mix I just loved the song 💗 It just gives you the flow of refreshing in mind. This songs makes your body moves just after it started 💗💗💗💗 Speach less just speech less
Absolutely. 1st time I heard this song I also thought that transition between parts of the song was not so smooth this time like other songs. But in the end it was good enough to enjoy.
S2 is crazily cool... to hear needs a ear. It gives you elasticity and the unison of your alternates nests like art and magic. Even the echoes and the special intervals enhanced the iridescence. It's like poppy i first fell in love with a classic girl... it happenes 💞 and u guys r happiness !
My recommendations, two recent songs: 1. Arnob’s orchestration of a Tagore song at Kolkata recently in a Tagore fest. Every other performer in the event did the same, yet Arnob stands out with his composition. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ldo2lgpOIwY.html 2. Artcell’s former guitarist, Ershad Zaman just dropped a song as the beginning of his solo career. For many of us, Ershad Zaman is the best guitarist in the country and a genius composer. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jfFnY3xXx8c.html
If we don't like the music here, if it is not to our liking, the public will criticize us. But your reaction takes Coke studio Bangla to another level beyond everything. love from Bangladesh.❤
This song just radiates pure joy. I've had a goofy smile on my face from the first time Arnob's part began. That chorus is just so full of energy. I wasn't familiar with Sunidhi but after this I'm going to follow her work too. She has such presence and control over her voice! Also the knowledge that they're a couple makes this song even better for me and gives context to why Arnob was so emotional in that last shot.
You guys please react to rupshagore moner manush by mahtim sakib from svf songs plzzz...its a old classical bangla song kept with old bengal storyline..you guys must!
@Haris and Hammad, well explained brothers. From experiment part its a good effort by adit and the team. There are few places I lost my interest, transitions were somehow lost in between yet kept me eager to explore more. To me Arnob's part was the soothing one and last trnasition just blown me way. Sunidhi as a (usually) Rabindra sangeet Singer had been outstanding from classical part of the arrangement. The song a bit clumsy but the beat was interesting. Guitar and classical strings complemented the song very well. About brass, it was interesting but some places it was causing a bit discomfort in my ears. This song is good but you know being a Bangladeshi and honest fan of Arnob, I expected something more blasting in arnob's way. May be I am habituated with arnob that way. I actually expected something more like chiltey rod, calm and soothing with but with arnob's kinda vibrance. In the endnote, I really appreciate the effort. May not be my most favourite from CSB but well recieved by me for the experiment part of view. Yeah, may be a little bit dissappointed !!! What can I do really.
You guys introduced me to "Sheishob Din Raatri," for which I'm so thankful to you. I listen to that track almost every day. So I want to introduce my favorite Bangla track of all time to you guys: "Ek Jhak Payra" by Habib Wahid. Underrated song, but it’s a masterpiece. Listen to the album version of that. As always, thanks for your appreciation for Bangla songs, dear Haris and Hammad! 💜
@LetsTalkAboutIt-Reactions Hi, nice to see that you are reviewing SHONDHATARA (Evening Star). You may also check out this wonderful Sitar+Guitar fusion track “Amar Prithibi” by the most famous Bangladeshi rock band Black. The Sitar was played by the band’s brilliant famous guitarist Khademul Jahan. Popstar Tahsan Khan was one of the vocals and a keyboard player of Black then. Released in 2002 this track and the album still rocks! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c8i1Qpcnsa8.html
This track and the one prior i.e. Dewana were meh at best, did not generate any feeling of swaying with the music. It will become one of the least liked tracks in CS Bangla Season 1 and 2 combined.
10 years ago I didn't see this trend of reviewing songs and make comments on it. First of all, Arnob is the best musician in our generation. You need to understand the whole concept which includes language, their individual journey from where they came from. Just by listening to the music it is impossible to judge a song in whole. I am from Bangladesh, I know exactly what it took these musicians to produce all these songs. I just don't understand this specific trend of reviewing everything!!! What gives you the right to judge a song? I mean what qualification do you have to judge a song publicly. I can bet some of the musicians who is playing here has Masters degree and years of practice in their field. And here we are, reviewing their work to get more subscriber, views and what not!!!
10 years ago there weren’t many things that you do/see today. If you don’t like reaction videos what are you doing here then? Just take a chill pill and move on.
