Hey everyone, sorry I have been gone for a minute, but it sure is great to be back. I wanted do this song for all us because I have noticed such a big increase in the Hmoob population here in Oklahoma within just 2 years. Therefore, I wanted to paint a picture on what I have experienced from it. I hope you all can enjoy this song as much as I did making it. Thanks and enjoy!!!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Shong Lee in person when he came to my cousins funeral. He’s a really cool and chill guy and me and my friends even took a couple of pictures with him.

Shong Lee is lyrical. Instead of just listening to the music and be hype that it's shong Lee. Listen to the message he's trying to send out. Basically. We Hmong are greedy and it's true. It's survival of the fittest. Everyone for themselves. In his song. He says that everyone out here is competing. If I help you. I starve. If you help me. You starve. There's a deeper meaning to this song. Lyrics play a big role in a song. The beat is just a bonus. Yall feel me? Lol

@@cheng4898 nuh bruh. Na Her is good, but his lyrics gets a little repetitive. Shong Lee has a broader Hmong vocabulary in his lyrics and in terms of context, they are much more relatable. Imo, Shong > Na Her.

I lived in Oklahoma for nearly 10 years and the Hmong population have grown quite large. I moved away right before xaa became legal and I'm surprised at the competition and number of ppl we had come to. This song tho... lol 👏🏼👏🏼 on point!!
