Jerry and Linda tour Shooters World in the Brownwood area of The Villages. They explore the amazing 53,000 square foot complex and actually shoot a machine gun. The store is one of three in Florida and is a welcome addition to the 55+ retirement community. We would like to thank everyone for watching our videos, and especially those that subscribe.

I don't shoot, so I almost didn't watch the video. That is such an amazing set-up that they have at Shooter's World! The video was so informative, even to someone that doesn't shoot. I'm very tempted to learn now, so I can protect myself. This is the place to learn! I hope no one ever breaks into your house, as you two shoot really well!!!

Just wanted to add that Shooter’s World has THE BEST Range Safety Officers of any range I’ve been to, in and outside of Florida. I always feel safe knowing they’re watching and they’re quick to offer help with loading, aim, etc.

Excellent!!! I have a NYS concealed carry permit and own handguns. It’s good to know I’ll have a place to shoot when I retire in the villages.

Shooters World is a very popular place. The parking lot is always full- A full parking lot is a happy parking lot- a doctor once said that. No worries living at The Lofts... we never hear a sound. Wow!! Linda is good. I used to fantasize about having a pickup truck, gun rack, and a hunting dog riding in back. Sounds like an ideal way to learn at Shooters World. Thx!

Absolutely fantastic. I'm there 2-3 times a week. Sometimes to shoot. Sometimes to just try the guns on the circle. Knowledgeable staff. Large variety of rental firearms.

Thanks for sharing another great video and as a retired LEO I really enjoyed seeing this first class shooting range with all its amenities. This looks like a fun place to come too in the hot humid months and latter enjoy a cool drink socializing. Remember its all about safety and shot placement, by the looks of it Linda is a sharpshooter.

Just watched this amazing video! Great job Jerry & Linda! I visited Shooters World during my LSV back in October and even shot my own handgun at the range. By far, the best range that I have ever been to in my life! Watching this video, I learned much more about SW than i did during my two visits there. Thanks to Scott for adding so much info about SW! I’ll be back, hopefully, this July!

We just had our first visit to the Villages last Sunday. Our DIL's Dad lives there. We were so totally impressed with everything, we were totally awe struck. To say the least we have been researching every since. Came across your videos earlier this week. We love them! So informative and we'll done. This video right here may have just totally sold my husband on the idea!!

Great video. I’ve recently gotten into pistol target shooting. Smith & Wesson EZ 9 mm is my choice. I have taken classes and shoot every weekend. I’m not into bowling or golfing. Shooting gives me a competitive hobby that taught me how to handle a firearm. I carry a pistol most days. Nobody knows it, chances are I’ll never need it. But I know how to use it if needed.

Great video guys! Haven't shot for years. Might be time to check this place out. Dad was a retired police officer also. Still have his S&W police revolver w/ 6" barrell from the 50's. I keep it with his badge, credentials, etc. Thanks for sharing as always!

Thank you both so much for this video! I’m an Infantry veteran, as well as a police officer very close to retirement. We plan on moving to the Villages in 2023. As a shooter I was concerned where I’d be able to continue my hobby while down there. We were down in July for two weeks and I’m a little upset I was unaware of this place!

My Great Nephew is a range officer there, so he took me there when I came down to FL, I have been to other ranges and this place is amazing.

I'm a gun guy and I must say that this is one of the nicest facilities that I have seen. I'm retirement age right now and this would really be a big deal for me to get actively involved. That being said.....I'm not quite ready to retire.

Fantastic video, I am a very active competition rifle shooter, and one of the requirements I have retire and become a snow bird is to have access to a rifle range. This makes the Villages very attractive to me.

Is there a test you have to take before anyone purchases a fire arm? And how long does it take before you are issued a fire arm licence? Also is there any sort of eye test involved?
