@jystyle tbh this is a lot more realistic than typical anime. It's actually pretty cool that they have that, because it really shows. Though to be honest, mixed fighters tend to have more respect for traditional martial arts than most people might believe. They have occasional fictional parts, like when the guy lifts up the vending machine. Honestly, I'm happy to see some realistic anime out there for once
nanshin shadow style to my knowledge is a fictional martial art however the principles of the story apply to all martial arts and the way the main character in the story trains for his different fights is pretty acccurate.
The mood in this show is quite spastic, as if someone put Grappler Baki in a blender with Two and a Half Men. It's still an enjoyable watch. Thanks for putting it up.
I love how much of a child Kiichi is. He's immature, a lil shit, and kinda selfish. I love it because he's around 15-16, and that's exactly how someone his age acts
@mrnaruto123 Try reading the manga...the anime skipped A LOT! This one is based on the manga of Kiichi's younger years. From there you can also read the one where he is like ten years older.
Ya.. i got a question . Kiichi father said that his shadow killing style must stay secret right? Why in the HELL in the past did his father fight in a Arena.. With over 200 people there e_e broad casting that shit 2 the world?
the only way to under stand this is to read the manga and its preatty interesting they creater also has interviews with fighters from back in the hay day when UFC was starting out like Volk Hans and stuff man
@ninjabastard2 A manga would be a graphic novel or comic book. This is an animated show, which is called an anime. Unless you mean something like, originally this was a manga and was made into an anime. In any case, the video we're watching is an anime.
Pro wrestling isn't a martial art, it's a soap opera. Real fighting is done with actual martial arts, not acting. Anywho, so far I'm really liking this anime.
Im sorry if this upsets some of you but wrestling is an inferior style compared too many martial art styles it has far to many obvious flaws even the professional wrestling styles are flawed
