I just wanted to share my experiences shooting a rifle with a beard. I have some issues. Hopefully, you all have some solutions! Thanks for watching!

Great question. I had trouble pulling hairs out from recoil shooting skeet starting from low ready position with a rubber butt pad and it HURT! My beard was long enough to get deodorant on it in the morning if I wasn't careful. I would slip a thin neck gaiter on to cover up my beard and that solved my problem. Not the most comfortable but no more pain.

Oh wow! That's a great suggestion. Did the gaiter stay up on your face pretty good? I have to adjust gaiters often because they slide down but I didn't have a gun pressed against my face at the time.

It didn't move much. I wear them more like a ski mask. From my chin up over the ears and on top of my head. Then put a cap over it and stays put. A little more difficult with muff style ear pro but good to go with plugs.

One quick observation I noticed is you had the stock higher up. Try having the butt of the stock placed right in the shoulder joint, almost like in the “crease” of the shoulder joint. If nothing else, it should help with shooting. Me personally never experienced hairs pulling out.

Thank you. I felt like I was tilting my head too much to see the red dot. That's why brought the stock/barce up higher. Maybe I need to bring the front of the gun up higher?

@@ResplendentRaider I'm pretty good, especially with the 9mm BUT I would like to have proper stock/brace placement. I'll definitely make corrections on my next trip to the range.

@@ResplendentRaider definitely will take a look at RU-vid! The Ruger PC carbine is not a pistol. It has a 16" barrel. The AR15 is a pistol. It has a 11.5" barrel.
