Shooting Film In The Studio (Got Published In Vogue!) || Mamiya RZ67 || Pentax 67

This video was shot prior to the Covid situation
Shooting film with flash can be daunting so hopefully this video will provide some pointers to help out. I photographed 3 different models using various lighting set ups so you can decide for yourself which you prefer. I shot with the Mamiya RZ67 and the Pentax 67 on both Portra 160 and 400.

Congrats on the Vogue pic! and thanks for sharing. I bought a RZ67 a few years ago as a film portrait camera. The "3D like" look from the viewfinder is other worldly and makes looking into a DSLR viewfinder like looking into a tunnel. It is such an incredible piece of gear. Any one wanting to explore film photography should seriously consider going MF as I think 35mm is to similar in DOF and look to DSLR.

I liked the video and your explenations - for the Pentax 6x7 you should look for the Leaf ShutterTakumar 90/2.8 lens - this makes the Pentax more studio flash usable ;-)
