Gun control not just kills the gun owner of not defending themselves but their families.

Those bans have made a huge difference in safety. The USA has more school shootings in a month than we have had in 30 years. Direct result of gun control. Now if the USA didn’t have guns everywhere that get smuggled into Canada we would be so much better off. It’s hard to have nice things living above a crack house.

The new laws under the Trudeau regime have NOT made a significant difference where it needs to count and that is with gang related shootings. All the new laws have done is made it harder for law abiding hunters and sport shooters to enjoy their respective sports. So, respectfully, you’re wrong. And as for the school shootings in the US, we can’t really speak on that as we do not live there, but in my honest opinion guns aren’t the issue, mental health and the lack of resources for those suffering from mental health is the real problem, but that is a whole different issue.

@@martymethuselah No politician will ever do that because almost all of them are buddies with the police and none of them would ever have the balls to tell the cops that they won't get their annual budget increase whether they deserve it or not. Just look at a few months back when Olivia Chow initially wanted to cut just 12 million from the 20 million increase that the police asked for and then she and city council caved anyways and approved the full 20 million increase for this year. Few politicians will say no to what the cops ask for and it doesn't look like alot of that money is going to paying for new officers, but rather just salary increases to keep up with or exceed inflation.
