shooting my first roll of cinestill 800t (everything went wrong) 

this is so fun to watch the good and the bad of this photoshoot outing. like I know this is going to be me

Film at night is a pain, but here’s some things that helped me. myLightMeter Pro app works really good with the phone, that’ll help you with the exposure. Even at night try to find the spot with the most light available. Hold still, hold your breath and press the shutter, if you bring a tripod better, if you have a shutter release cable even better. Cinestill is awesome for those glows in the light so look for neon signs and big lights looks beautiful! Anyways I saw some good shots there, that’s the beauty of film the imperfections that make it so awesome! 👍🏼

I'm brand new to shooting on film and am working through the Cinestill 50D right now but this made me definitely want to get the 800T next time! Do you keep track of what settings you use? Specifically I'm curious what shutter speed you were shooting these with? Hoping to avoid that low light blur

When I rewind my film I can feel tension on the rewind handle. When there's suddenly no more tension I know it's fully rewound but I turn the handle five or six more times for good measure. Make sure the rewind handle spins freely before removing the film.
