As part of our TLN series called Lacrosse Stories, B-Rob and I took a trip to the Six Nations to visit with Lyle Thompson and his family. These are some BTS moments we cut of the two of us talking, dodging, shooting, and having a fun little competition at the end...

I like the opening convo on fitness. I used to wear down defenders over the course of a game if they couldn’t keep up the full speed reps on or off ball. Lacrosse has a pretty high fitness demand given the size of the field and changing pace of play.

ILA is a cool spot..took my daughter their for practice a month ago. Lyle is such a great player..he unfortunately didn’t play the last time we saw the rock vs swarm.

Talking treadmill workouts I believe. Lyle runs on the 10th speed (highest speed) for 10 seconds or the 9th speed for 15 seconds for however many reps he chooses for that workout.

I did not know you guys play at the ILA we won a lax tournament there and why the field net In the box arena if you use the box net it’s smaller better practice and not only does lyle play field but he’s better at box
