The Alfa is compared to Supercars costing between $300,000 Ferrari GTB and 1 Million the McLaren P1. The Alfa does 0-60 in 4.1 seconds which is faster then Lamborghini's Diablo or Countach! The Alfa is handmade in Italy by Maserati and Ferrari designed the Sport Tuned Exhaust ! I know, I just bought a 2017 Alfa 4C fully loaded and watched over 500 videos !

What a stupid comparison. Despite the M badges the beemer is a comfortable everyday car while the Alfa is a pure blooded sports car with zero practicality. Bit like comparing an apple to an orange.
Agreed! Did you notice, while buddy was presenting the 4C "on track", his revs weren't changing? And the scenes where it did show the car moving quickly were with a different driver who had a helmet on. That means that he didn't actually drive it that hard. Nonetheless, you need a car enthusiast to present properly
Stupid comparisson if you are looking for a daily. I would buy the 4c and a used car with low millage for daily. The 4c is gonna be a classic if you keep the millage low.
A piece of advice to all Americans commenting Alfa: Alfa is a car you buy with your heart and not your brain. It's a machine you love, a machine with imperfection like a person. It has a soul and a heart. It's not just a machine like any BMW.
American here, and I agree with you. I like that the Alfa flies under the radar from the general public, makes it all the more appealing. I love that Italian personality.
Great piece of advice!! Alfa ~ first, Romeo ~ Love. First LOVE! I’d take any QV Alfa over a BMW and that includes the Giulietta QV. Closest thing I could afford was a Dodge Dart Mopar here in the states. It’s just a heavier Giulietta without the Alfa 1.75l and the 1.4 fire engine. I call it the angry Italian because it sounds so beautiful when it’s mad.
@@subsixtynk95 Thinking about a manual in the 4C is like thinking about your supermodel girlfriend's missing big toe. As a hardcore manual guy who has never bought an automatic car and don't have any plans to buy any, I NEVER miss the manual in the 4C. If I'm greedy, I'd like more power but it's FAST as is. Do NOT care about paddles. However, there is no BMW, Porsche, Dodge or Chevy that I'd want auto. Those all HAVE to be manual for me.
It is really really really not intelligent to compare a coupé version (M2) VS a spider one (4C). It will be more interesting to compare it with a 4C coupé that is more thant 30% cheaper. Plus, 4C is INCOMPARABLE with any other car because it has big race car feeling that you can only feel maybe only on a Lotus SuperSeven or a Exige/Elise S. When you will stop to think only with number, maybe you will understand cars.
Its a pointless comparison. The M2 is a front engined Coupé the 4C is mid engine roadster/spyder. The M2 is a car for everyday, the 4C is a car that you have on your garage the whole week and deserve a special day or two per week to just drive it. Both are cars that i like a lot.
excuse me, 2 things, the first, you have to pick up one girl, in what car do you know she is going to??? the second, between 20 years, what car do you think there will be always beautiful, and you can go outside without complex, and if you want to buy it you must spend at least 50.000$(current)? certainly non bmw. Jan 2023..... 6 years later; The M2 is worth less than 50% of it's original sales price. The 4C sells for MORE than it's original price. Good video.... but deeply flawed: "If I had to choose 1 car, it would be..." No one with half a brain buys a 4C as their daily driver. It wasn't built as a DD. It was never intended to be a DD. The 4C turns curves, turns passion, and turns heads.... THAT is what it was built to do.
Funny you say they can't compare them on a video comparing them. They just DID compare them. I'm buying a 4C BTW and I WAS cross shopping with M2 and F Type.

As a GTV6 owner I'd say the 4C would make a fantastic 3rd car. Somewhat like a sport bike, it's probably fantastic for two or four hours, but you wouldn't want to drive it across a big state on the freeway.
this cars are very different , the Alfa romeo Giulia wins the bmw m2 and the bmw m3 , but the giulia is model of 2017...ok but, this carfight is unclear cause these two cars are different style. Alfa is better car!!
Loved the segment. i know it is arbitrary but lap times would have been fun to compare capability. Not just one average lap time for each car but multiple numbers to better show which cars are more consistent because of electronic aids or more driver dependent with more varied times.
When a car company corners the style and passion market from day one, all other companies can only chase the same dream but never compete, its not always about the wallet its about the emotion and Alfa have that in spades as so most Italian designed cars.
M2 for boring daily commute and the Alfa 4c for everything else. Seriously its a panty dropper x10 vs BMW. Lets be honest. BMW M cars are just stepping stones into the world of Exotic cars.
I greatly dislike this comparison. A two door, four seat, front will drive Coup’e against a two door, two seat, all well drive, mid-engine convertible type thingy.

I have never been passed by a stock BMW ever on the track. The only BMWs that have ever kept up with me are suspension modified. That M2 is a daily that you can take to the track. The Alfa was born to run the track. By a BMW if you think you are a car enthusiast. By an Alfa if you are a car enthusiast.
the M2 does everything for you...indicative of times to come? Alfa (while missing a manual gearbox) just oozes retro fun. No sat nav, difficult radio, unassisted steering, gorgeous looks...the M2 is just Niki Lauda all the way. Alfa seems to be doing a better job at preserving italian spirit than ferrari or lamborghini...hats off to pagani though.
You dont understand the engineering involved. Extensive carbon fiber use.. a excelent chassis and born to track. The price are correct for 4c. Is a master piece tack carbto 60k

what more efficient then a hydraulic steering an electric steering but it sacrifice a bit of feel for fuel savings what more efficient then an electric steering wheel and provide more feel then a hydraulics a old school unassisted manual steering wheel

The M2 is the car you can drive hours and hours on the interstate in comfort. If you use it around town it can carry 2 passengers in the back seats and grocery in the trunk. The Alfa will be useless for long distances. Service cost is more expensive (a while ago this was featured by a British reviewer) and basically you buy it to show off to your neighbors or gorgeous chic. Despite the extensive use of Carbon fiber and absence of Air condition it is still slightly heavier than the 2 Lt Miata. In conclusion BMW is the better car. If you must have a 2 seater which can compete with the Alfa then choose the Porsche boxster.
