Phu Vu from ( / _epicbmx ) EPIC BMX wanted to learn more about "professional scavenger" bike setups and lucky for him, his new friend Dugan was open to giving him some insight.
After the video Phu and his son Max Vu ( / maxvutang ) helped out Dugan with food, beverages, and some bike maintenance!

phu i need help! i just bought kink pillar cranks and bottom bracket and i put them on my bike but they dont spin smooth, whats wrong? also they're 2 peice cranks and one side is pinchless, should the end bolt be tight or loose?

It's a great bicycle. Are you sure, he was homeless? He knows, what he, is doing, with the deep treads . I have a service tip. Maybe, change the freewheeling mechanism , after a certain mileage. Obviously, a very clever man. Hopefully you made, a decent new friend there . That's just the type of person you need in your life. Ask him what he has for sale maybe ? ❤

That's why my daily rider is a beater bike with a huge cargo trey on the rear rack. Looks like the type of bike you'd see a homeless dude pushing around with a mountain of flattened cans on the back. I still lock it, but I doubt anyone would even want to steal it.
