The key is to get the yard tools and smaller stuff into a shed.

I’m jealous, in my shed I can turn round and get any tool I need. Would love to have to walk to get a tool! You can’t ever have to much room. Nice tour Bruce

Very nice set up! I’m actually in the middle of having a 26 x 26 garage built off the side of my house this spring so it’s nice to see an example of the space I’ll have👍🏻

Playing catch up on my videos and ran across your shop tour. I am in the process of cleaning and purging stuff from my 2 car garage and up grading the lighting. Thinking of going with LED. They are brighter and use less power. Also going to gas heater like yours. Thanks for all you do and welcoming us into man cave. Ray from Ohio,USA.

Left Handed drill bits? Do you use them in reverse? Never heard of such a drill bit. Can you explain in a short video perhaps. You have a very neat and organized garage with lots of stuff. Keep up the good work. Thanks and Happy New Year Bruce.
@BrucesShop
@BrucesShop 8 месяцев назад
Yes If you have a bolt that has snapped off the head you start with a reverse (left handed) drill bit on the remainder of the bolt it may spin out in many instances while the bit turns backwards. Thanks for watching this video Troy. . Happy new year to you as well.

Pretty nice shop you got, Bruce. Is that Reznor furnace gas or electric? I ask because I’m trying to find a better means of heat for my shop. I have a 22’ wide X 28’ deep garage with 10’ open truss ceiling. Non insulated. I currently use a 110,000 BTU kerosene torpedo heater which works fine but it’s a bit noisy if you’re trying to hold a conversation with someone. I have a 230 volt circuit out there that used to power a welder I no longer have and I was thinking of using that for a decent electric overhead furnace like what’s in your shop.
@BrucesShop
@BrucesShop 8 месяцев назад
Well I would first spend the money on insulation. Then the money you spend on heat stays in there. My furnace is natural gas. I can turn it down to just above freezing to save money when I am not in there. If you can use that 230 volts outlet for even a small sub panel that would give you a few breaker positions for doors and lights. the furnace just uses enough AC to run the air fan. The furnace is 75,000 BTU
@shoptalkwithbrett6572
@shoptalkwithbrett6572 8 месяцев назад
@@BrucesShoptrusts what I was thinking Bruce. Insulation and close in the ceiling and walls first then have a gas line ran from the house. What I have to account for is the exhaust fan in the back wall above the trusses.

Where do you buy your teflon belts? I have never seen one.
@BrucesShop
@BrucesShop 8 месяцев назад
OK If you buy and MTD or John Deere belt they will have reinforcements in them which I called Teflon. They are most likely Kevlar or equivalent. Sorry for the confusion.
