Your shop is what we call a "sleeper" Crafsman. It looks plain and ordinary on the outside but once you open it up... it's all decked out on in the inside and looks wicked cool!
Completely agree! It’s like the set to a TV show - it’s so pleasing to the eye, just the balance of beautiful rustic and earthy colors and interesting items. I could actually just stare at it for hours 😂
I think if you uploaded a video of you painting a fence and talking us through the process and some stories about the craftin' life I'd watch that too.
Yeah something is definitely different, I watch the first one for several minutes and the beginning is different for sure… Maybe he revealed too much or his reflection or something? Hope it didn’t cause him any trouble and I’m just glad he redid it because I’ve been waiting to see his shop forever! As soon as i type crafsman into my search bar the first thing that comes up is “shop tour… “Because I’ve been searching for that since I found him several months ago! Thanks crafsman!!!
What I got from that was, this is your special place. It's more than a room, it's your Fortress Of Solitude, your Sacred Temple Of Crafs, your favorite place in the world. It just feels so strongly of how much it is loved. It feels, in the video, like a bit of heaven brought down to dusty old earth. You really made your shop magical, CrafsMan. Every little bit was interesting. That is an amazing thing. Thank you.
This is 100%. This space is hand crafted and one of a kind. These places only exist by the needs of those who make it because that's its purpose, even if its never used as its intended. This may sound kinda weird, but basically what I'm saying is there is an intention to use a space, but maybe that doesn't work, but you still decide to keep it this certain way because its still needed in some way for the purpose you found. The details are unique, so you cannot replicate it. I mean, you could in general, or call it another name like man cave perhaps, but it would be your version. This place may not mean anything to anyone but as a creator I know it only has to mean something to one person and its not any of us. Its like any persons workshop. Its super special!
I wanted to add a message to the talented friends of The Crafsman who we get to see what they sent in: You guys are amazing! Beautiful artwork everyone.
"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do - do it with thy might." Wow, lol. Right there at 19:44. Found that in Ecclesiastes back in like 1979 and have tried to live by that since. Have never heard another mention of it until today. Thanks, brother.
@@tstuff I do too, and actually it once helped me find it! My dad had borrowed it and didn't know where he'd put it, so I looked at his messy desk where I wasn't eager to dig through all his stuff. But thankfully I could spot the labelmaker label on the labelmaker-labeled labelmaker, so I didn't have to!
There are so many great channels on RU-vid… I am so grateful for this platform because I spend 16 hours a day alone in my woodshop seven days a week. I was going crazy for so many years. Being isolated can wear on you sometimes. But six years ago I discovered RU-vid. I literally have it streaming nonstop in my shop through my sound system… I can’t always look at the screen but I love to listen… And shop tours are my favorite. I’ve been waiting for a shop tour on this channel since I first found it last year. So glad to finally have it! Thank you so much for your content crafsman! you always keep me company in the shop and help me look at things in a positive light! I’ve got your videos on repeat and have seen most of them dozens of times, definitely my favorite channel on RU-vid by far! And that really is saying a lot because there’s some amazing creators on here that have helped me through some really tough times… you’re by far my favorite! Your attitude is gold… Pure gold!!! Thank you for all you do!!! Your voice will help get me through the next few years alone in my shop You and your family are so blessed to have each other.
The heart and soul of youtube right here. The Bob Ross of Craft'n. A wise artisan creates a craftspace that is their muse as well as function. You seem to have the lot. Your masterpiece is your ongoing journey of creation. congrats and keep craftin'
Crafsman, I was coming up the escalator at the Cincinnati airport today and heard a characteristic, “Hello.” And I sincerely thought it was you. A little outside of your neck of the woods but I can dream right?
@@beau9902 ... Watching this from the Ecosocialist Block formerly known as the EU:... hm... apparently, your Mississippians aren't allowed to travel by air. Strange but I guess you have your reasons 😊
The fact that you hide your reflection in the play button with the puppet, while maintaining lip sync shows your level of detail in your videos. Crafsman, this vid is A+
So glad you re-uploaded the video! I love your videos! You are also so organized! That is like a dream shop for most of us crafters/collectors! Thank you for letting us be a part of your world Crafsman, and thank Crafsmomma for sharing you with us also! :)
I know right! Kinda reminds me as a kid walking threw my grandfathers garage. This is what I want to leave for my kids when they older. Just imagine my kids going threw all that stuff and wondering what was their dad was planning on doing next. This is a gate way to this man's mind and one of his passions.
Crafsman, Thank you for your videos. Yesterday was the anniversary of my dad's death and it was really tough. I watched your videos all day and it really helped me get through the day. My dad was a carpenter and he left me all of his tools.. hopefully I can get my shop set up like yours. Much love to you and thank you for all the work you do.
Thank you Crafsman, this was a real treat to watch!! It's not only a workshop, it's a treasure chest! So many intresting things, so many amazing gifts, so many neat textures to admire. And all narrated by my favourite host, the Craaafsman.
Crafsman I foster homeless kitty cats and I want to name one after you. My next homeless kitty will be named the crafscat in honor of you and your kitty cat ❤
Thank you for being a great human, Heather. Although I am a dog person, I believe that every creature deserves warmth and love. I wish there were more of it to go around (and more people like you!)
You have a lovely workspace, Crafsman! I need to take a page out of your book and decorate with things that inspire me (and also maybe be more organized haha)
I think at this point I comment on every video saying the same thing, but I can't tell you how much I appreciate you Crafsman. Your show is a highlight of my week and I love to talk to people about how great it is. Thanks for being you.
Genuine human beings like you are hard to find in 2021, Crafsman. I and I'm sure millions of others would love to meet you someday. Thank you for letting us hang out with you.
This tour confirms my every suspicion - you are the Bob Ross of crafting. I am enamored by how incredibly organized you are. This shop is a gem in the woods i would never leave if I happened upon it in a leisurely stroll. This is amazing, as are you. I love everything you do!
The contrast and synergy of rustic vibe with futuristic toys and old school craftsmanship is a surreal and delightful experience. Its like I would imagine if I dropped a few tabs with Jim Henson, Mister Rogers, and Sanford and Son and we got a guided tour of Mayberry and Green Acres. It just works. Love you man.
I don't normally like to post on RU-vid comments sections, but I wanted you to know that this was a nice, behind-the-scenes video and I appreciated it. Love your work, my dude.
This guy gets me. I like filling my work spaces with things that are in no way functional but they make me smile so in the end they’re pretty functional.
Mr.Craftman you make my heart sink. Your slow voice and warmness makes my sickly flue ridden days better. I hope you won't stop what you are doing , keep creating smiles craftman.
The studio is a magical place of creativity, nostalgia and industry. It’s like a real life Pee Wee’s Playhouse, if he was a crafsman. Thanks for sharing!
This video inspired me to start building my own workshop. I've spent countless hours re-watching this video, dreaming of the day when I can do a similar "shop tour" and proudly show what I have built with my own two hands. Thank you Crafsman.
Man, seeing your shop, your figures, and toys you have collected like the Air Raider, Muscle Men, etc. have reminded me of the toys I had when I was younger!!! I actually forgot those toys ever existed until I just saw those again! Man, you made me feel like a kid again for a moment there, thank you so much for sharing that stuff with me!! Looking at your shop, one can tell very quickly your life is full; full of creativity, friends, love, and beauty.
Jay, I want you to know this comment means a lot to me. I take your words to heart, and am grateful to know one of my little videos brought back some good memories. Thank you for watching!
@@TheCrafsMan Thank you for showing your love through your content! These videos you post are so much more relevant through this year than ever. It still reminds me there are still wonderful people with so much to share out there. Merry Christmas to you and your family, best wishes to you through 2021 and well beyond my friend!!
150 of us watch your videos in an online chat/video room each time you release a new one. We all really appreciate your content and how pure it is. Thanks for making these videos!
Every desk or work bench or spice rack or glove box in my neck of the swamp has a shaker can of Tony's! I had the pleasure of meeting him long ago and way back when his product was only distributed locally.
I’m so glad you’ve gotten more and more recognition for your work. I’m from Scotland and have been watching you since I was 17 I say you are the best RU-vid channel out there, nothing fake everything in your videos is genuine and I love every video you put out ❤️
TheCrafsMan SteadyCraftin ALWAYS staysteady craftin once my daughter is born a few years down the line I’ll show her some crafting tricks you’ve shown me ❤️
ASMR, Bob Ross style, toy customization videos have filled a void in my life. You inspired me to actually cut up some of my own Star Wars figures to make my own customs and I have to say I am extremely happy with the results! Thank you so much, and keep up with the amazing content!
21:51 That little cream spaceman next to the TV is from a construction toy called Construx. I used to love playing with that stuff as a kid and seeing this little guy here bought back a lot of childhood memories! :D
MR Craftsman you are one of my life lines. I watch you every day. I am 71 and 100% disabled from 2 combat tours in Viet-Nam. I was born down in your part of the Country, but have lived here in Alaska since 1980. I admire your talent very much. Wish I had some of your talent.
I am constantly re-watching your videos anyway, so I'll watch this re-upload again today. I think I've watched your Circut Board + Resin Jewelry and your Wood and Resin Jewlery Lookin' Things videos the most. I love that we get to spot you in the reflection of your RU-vid Award. When I saw you blink when you heard them squirrels in a previous video it inspired me to go and check out your Patreon and become a supporter. Thank you for letting us all take a tour of your shop. And don't worry I have 3 milk crates so your secret is safe with me!
Soo much neat stuff- beautiful space! And Lume Cubes are pretty great... well except the that I wish that they got a lot longer battery life! Thanks for inviting us into your studio!!
When I'm using the Lume Cubes for animation, I keep them plugged in (USB power adapter). I like the smallnicity of them and the gels, diffusors, snoots, and barn doors attachments. Happened to catch them when they had a bundle sale. :)
@@TheCrafsMan That's awesome! I got a similar bundle and I thought about an external power supply, but they run so hot that keeping them running makes me a lil paranoid with them! But yeah, Lume Cubes are soo much cheaper (and compact) than any other photo lighting kit! Keep doing what you do! 👍👍
As I said in the first upload, LOL @ the Kenobi with the Fisher-Price commander head and I love how digestible your tutorials are. You're doing everything RIGHT.
Uploaded on my birthday! Watched the first upload today and have now watched this second upload two times 😅 your videos are an endless amount of enjoyment crafsman, hope you never stop. Best wishes from Iceland.
