A solid plan with priorities, spending a few more moments on legs each year and one step at a time will solve your issues.

Not to bad,Stuart.Roof and floor are critical.Roof first,looks like the metal structure is very good and galvanize metal sheets are not to expensive and last long to cover the whole building.Easy to install too.Metal columns need some concrete footings.Just dig around and poor some concrete that will hold the metal against sinking.Lots of work as expected but not terribly expensive.The floor goes after.You can get it done by stages.Take care and thank you.

Re your metal roof and siding. We lost a roof on the barn because the installers screwed through the high profiles. Over time wind causes small oscillations and the profiles collapse a little. Now of course the screws are loose and sitting in a small dimple, drip drip drip in the rain. Loose screws means the tin can oscillate more , well you can see where this is going. Gasket screws should not back out, if they do your roof might need to be re-strapped, or the screws weren’t put in right to begin with. This was the case with our barn. Having knees a good deal older than yours, we hired a couple of lads to go over the entire roof and add a full complement of gasket screws and caulk all the dimples from the old screws. Good luck with the repairs, once done right it’s trouble free.

I’m just on the outside looking in but I would give anything to have a shop as big as yours. Like a previous viewer stated, take your time and tackle one thing at a time. I’m looking at your shop in the future and it looks awesome! Can’t wait for the next update.

One thing you may want to look into to extend your roof life and seal things up is coating the roof in elastomeric coating it's basically like a really thick paint that drys like a membrane for heat reflection and waterproofing it would be best to use elastomeric patch compound first which is thicker to go around penatrations and over all the screws then do the coating just make sure you get the coating that's specifically for steel roofs 👍👍👍

Might be worth investigating "slab jacking" they pump grout at high pressure under the slab to lift it back in to place. I think it's actually called mud jacking slab jacking seems to use polyurethane foam and doesn't seem to work more than an inch or two while mud jacking seems to cope with several inches of drop.

Funny, I bought a 100 year old boat factory/boathouse and i'm in exactly the same situation as you, except that my roof still has the old nails on it. Plan is to climb up there and replace the really loose ones, and then go crazy with bitumen goop. A few drips doesn't really harm anything in my case, I don't have a lot of expensive equipment stored in there. Also, I read the video description.

Looks like they screwed the tin down through the low spots... pro tip, only screw tin down through the high points... saves on future leaks... and yeah I always read the comments, I had to look up the Spanish to get the cheese bit though.

At least its not Brian Block bad, that building was a mess LoL. Not to be a downer but one of the other issues with post frames of that era is post rot at the grade line. So keep that in mind. Posts can be cut back well above the rot (3-4 feet) and replaced. You just sister them up with 2x6s on both side, or steel flat bar.

I would have never guessed that water would come in like that from what I saw. I bet you took care of the vast majority of it in that area with the screws. It's amazing what a few nail pops can let in.

Nothing is ever for nothing. Just take your time and do what you can when you can. If you can do much of the repairs by yourself you will save a bundle over hiring someone to do it. Please just be careful that ladder looks awfully high you can't machine any new body parts.

Yes, I read the descriptions. Was the roof issue disclosed to you? If not this sounds bad enough you could make the previous owner pay to fix the roof.

Don't the sellers have to declare things like that?

I remember when I bought my first mill. It was sitting on the floor in my dad's garage and I was thinking of how to get it off the pallet. "I may have made a mistake" was my thought too. Now my youtube taught machining work puts food on the table. Just takes time and patience.

Sorry man for me looks like a old trap, the best fix to this is demolition, a new solid floor and use of modern construction materials

No offense, but that building is kind of entirely a pile of crap. Roof is crap, floor is all heaved and cracked - doesn't exactly seem like it was a wise investment.

Bummer...If those whee my machines and stuff, I would spray them with something and cover everything with poly tarps from HF
