I still rewatch all your old videos. When I have anxiety and just need to hear a calm voice. My Dad died recently and I’d listen to one of your videos and my chest would start to untighten. I hope you know people still think of you! You’re missed. ❤
I love how low stress she was; I think it's because she loved and valued everything about her life. Love how Judah ran out and was so happy to see her. ❤
I’m new to the channel and have really been enjoying watching older videos. Andrea was a beautiful person inside and out. I think Eden looks like Andrea. Im 67, and your family is such an inspiration to me. God Bless You All. 💞
Whenever I’m having a bad day..I put on this playlist just to hear her calming voice. YOU ARE SO MISSED ANDREA. I wish you could see how much your family is thriving. You would be so proud of them all, especially your Tommy.
Oh, man! I died laughing when you showed the nightie & made the comment! hahahaha! Shopping alone is such a treat! I love my family but we need alone time also!
I have watched so many of your videos. It is so eye opening to see how someone else lives their day to day! I like in the San Francisco Bay Area, have no kids, and work a ton of hours at a pretty high stress, busy job. It’s neat seeing the peaceful small town America life. In one of your videos (home tour) you talked about leaving a note in your shop to let people know you’d be back shortly and someone asked about if you were worried about theft and you said no; it was crazy to me because here people will steal anything not bolted down 😂😂. Just another way of life!
Couldn't stop laughing when you said about date night then brought some pregnancy tests 😂 Love how much snow you have. If we had that much in the uk everything would stop as no one knows how to cope in the snow here 😂😂
Oh Andrea. How you are missed, these were my favorite vlogs. You said why you get such and such. Just makes me sad you are no longer here to share your wisdom. Tom she shared about paint.. and she bought three primary colors and how she lets the kids make their own colors. Ingenious!
Oh good!!! So I'm not the only one who puts the perishables away and all the other things sit in their bags for the next couple of days!!! Yay :-) Also, I loved seeing your kiddos coming out of the door once you drove up...that's what my boys do! So sweet.
I totally understand. I think all their fans share that response. Both Tom and Andrea always remember to keep their respect, joy, passion and obvious love for one another a focus in their family life. Andrea's casual remark re the Valentine's lingerie was priceless, talk about 'keeping it real!'. I was drinking water at that point in the video, I almost spewed water! From what we see about Tom and Andrea I feel confident Tom would adore Andrea (and vice versa, of course), no matter what garments were involved. I was tickled to see Asher (at least I think it was Asher, watching on my cell phone so the size of that brief portion of the video was small), run out to greet Mom and of course assist in moving purchases inside. He is such a great helper.
haha I love how casually you said "oh there's my cousin". I live in Wiscosin and most of my family lives in India... if I ever just casually ran into my cousin I'd be shocked and flip outt :P
That would be a surprise, wouldn't it! Living in a small town (and coming from a very large family) I rarely leave home without running into family somewhere.
I really enjoyed your haul, as I'm in England it's so strange to see you driving on the other side of the road, I keep wanting to say move over lol. God bless you all. And thank you . Xx
This was so entertaining, good pace and editing- there's no need for everything to be laid out and talked over at home when you go to the amazing effort of filming the cart in store and your prior online purchases. i also enjoyed the additional info about the local area , coal mine etc. amazing how much $$ you save with a monthly walmart haul. awesome vid.
DrummerlovesBookworm trust me i know what there for I was simply having a laugh with adults. I know she knows. but they were on sale I would have grabbed them too for play toys. :)
I enjoyed that, Andrea! Thanks for taking me shopping. As I'm in the UK I always like to see inside American stores. Wal Mart is the same group as our Asda but the interior looks totally different. That snow is amazing - wish we had some! 😀 And the roads are so empty! You got some nice things for Eden's birthday. I admit I have a soft spot for her!
Driving in Wyoming is so different from driving in California where Tom is from. One of his friends was incredulous once when I told him we never have to factor in traffic when we calculate how long it will take to get somewhere. We just get on the road and go! (Well, unless it's in the middle of a big snowstorm. That's a different story.)
Lol!! (That's right it would get very expensive to play)Thank you for responding, love ❤️ your family!!! You and your husband had done a great job raising a Christian family!! As a Christian is nice to see family like yours! Praise the Lord!!
It's after midnight and I just noticed you posted this, so nice to finally relax and enjoy, your children will have such great childhood memories when they get older and carry on with their children, your grandchildren , they are all so beautiful.❤️🙏🏽😊
You should look into getting Amazon prime! I'm not sure if it's available to non prime members, but the prime pantry is really affordable and a good deal. They always have amazing deals on bulk items like cereal, pop tarts, chips, juice, just depends when you look at the deals and how often. You can get anything sent to you for 5.99 a box, or if you follow the promo they have going on and buy so many items from a certain brand, it ships free!
I love your videos. I have 10 children so I can relate to the bulk buying. I've only got 4 children left at home anymore. We also go to "the city" 30 miles away to shop. Blessings to you and yours.
I love your hauls! I know this is an old video and you probably know by now but most Walmarts have Walmart grocery.. it’s free.. you go to the Walmart grocery website and can make an order, pick a time, and they bring it out to your car!
I loved this video as always but I loved the ending when you pulled up to the house and Judah runs out so sweet coming home to people waiting on you .really a blessing .
Mrs. Andrea, do you use the Walmart savings catcher app on your phone? They return any money back to you if a cheaper price exists for the products you get. All you have to do is upload a picture of your receipts barcode into the app and within 3-7 days they return any savings to you. You can let your earnings pile up to do a months shopping on the house! It's also a nice way to keep track of all your receipts in the app in case you need to return anything. Hope this helps! Love ya! PS I just started using the app and I got $5 back LOL my cousin was able to fill her gas tank with her savings catcher app when she went over budget one month.
Oh friend! We have the same issue with pencil sharpeners! You'll have to keep us posted as to how this one works out for you! Great video; thank you for sharing!
Thanks for taking us to Walmart - Amused me me how you so neatly place things in the cart - I just drop it in Haha. I love grocery hauls - any way they are done. I was wondering, are you still planning on doing a nutritional video and sharing your thoughts on that ?
In a few months I'll be doing my recipe videos and we'll talk about nutrition then. My mom taught me to stack the cart neatly. When you have a lot of stuff to pack in there, every little bit of space counts! My cart was actually less full this month than it usually is. Usually there's a mountain of stuff carefully balanced by the time I'm done and the rack underneath has stuff sticking out every which way! :)
I currently also filling my cart at Walmart online, I have a seperate tab open and as you mention things or as I see you put them in your cart, it reminds me of what I need, and I am able to put it in my cart as well. Only, we have the pick up option, where they do the shopping for us, which is amazing!
Learning how your family makes monthly shopping work for you has been inspiring to me. I'm working on a system to modify how I do shopping because it seems I'm at the grocery store for our family of 6 every 3-4 days and totally spending more than I want. Very frustrating! This video really shows how quite a few of your systems work together to make things quite easy. Hopefully I'll find a way that works for us too.
You did great on this video. Even though only two of us live in our home now, I bet I could save money shopping once a month for certain groceries. Our grocery bill was cut in half after our youngest moved out on his own. It is amazing how much a 19 year old man ( boy 😊) can eat.
I'm wondering what it's going to be like in a few years at our house. Tom picks up about 12 gallons of milk every other week, but as the boys are getting older I've noticed it's not lasting as long and we're kind of moving to a weekly milk run. I'm not sure what it'll be like when we've got 4 teenage boys!
I liked the format, it allows us to see shelf prices and appreciate how you split up online shopping with store purchases. I need to start taking advantage of online through Costco or Amazon Prime for our bulky, stock up items.
I truely enjoy your transparency. You are so open and honest with us all. It looks like you went into Gillette. I lived there for about 6 years and worked at CCMH. I love to look out the windows when you drive, beautiful:) Thank you for taking us along. I'm curious, what do you use the coconut oil for?
Yes, it's Gillette! We use coconut oil for baking and frying. (We use other oils, too, but it's nice to have a variety.) I wanted to be sure to have some right now because I need to make some ointment for Claudia and I want coconut oil for the healing properties it has.
Andrea Mills Andrea, is your hair greying? If it is, it's BEAUTIFUL!! Like a silver mane. I'm not sure your age (I know you're still young) but your hair is beautiful!!
+grateful1929 I got my first gray hairs at age 15; my grandma was completely gray by 40 and I think I may be following in her foot steps. (I'm 38.) A lot of my male cousins are going gray pretty young, too. I'm not sure about my female cousins because they tend to dye their hair. :)
I love haul videos. It quenches the compulsive shopper side of me. Lol!! Eden's birthday gifts look too cute. She is such a sweet kind little girl. Loved your comment about, this is what Tom would like for Valentine's Day! I chuckled. You're such an amazing woman and take such good care of your family. Would you ever consider sharing your PO Box info with your viewers so we could send you letters or gifts?
The wintery street scenes towards the end, before you arrive back to your cosily lit home-absolutely beautiful-best of luck with your RU-vid channel-Yuletide and 2019.
lol I laughed when you passed the lingerie and said Tom would enjoy it but you couldn't fit into it anymore. I say the same thing in my head when I'm shopping sometimes! 😂
Thanks for taking us with on your shopping trip today! I feel so spoiled having grocery and big box stores just minutes from us! Eden has a very interesting birthday theme! You're so great to accommodate her on it! My daughter turned 7 this month on the 3rd!!
I forgot to add I really like oriental trading company! They're really good with customer service if things get broken in shipment! I was thinking of those ninja suckers and betting some might be broken!
Pencil sharpeners! Oh my word, they ALWAYS break Andrea! My Mom has a pencil sharpener you plug into the wall that has been kicking since I was really young. I'm 29 now, it must be at least 20 years old lol! I still remember the old metal sharpeners that would be on random furniture in everyone's homes, lol. THROWBACK. :)
Andrea, I love your videos! unfortunately, I'm so sad to see that a lot of people have snow... where I live there's no more snow since 2006... snif xD love ur vids you are so refreshing and such a lovely person :)
Your amazing how you organised the trolley with all that shopping . I love these sort of blogs . Would love to see you putting it away once your home x
I think we all figure out how to make life work where we are with what we have! There's a link at the end of this video to the video I did about our budget if you want to see what the numbers actually look like for our family.
We go through pencil sharpeners like that at our house also. They just never seem to last! I heard somewhere that you shouldn't use them for colored pencils; it clogs it up or something? But even when we stopped sharpening colored pencils in it and only used it for our regular pencils it would still break. Let us know how this one works out for you. I may have to try it out after the one we are using now breaks (it's inevitable; it's already showing signs of failing, lol!).
About the pencil sharpener if you sharpen color pencil in them that's why there break color pencil lead is harder then pencil leads try color primsa sharpen they are the best the hand ones
TOM this is a good example for you to review of how Andrea ordered alot if the bulk items from walmart.com to be delivered before she shipped at the store
loved the video, my favourite part was when you got to the bit about the pregnancy tests. ;-) I thought 'wait, what??!!' I have 9 kids and buy mine in bulk too. I will often have female friends ask for some and im known as the pregnancy test lady. lol. I give it 3 to 6 months. ;-)
Good Evening Andrea, My whole family loves watching your video. I was wondering if you could possible show us some quick easy family meals you like to cook. I am always trying to come up with new things to try and would love to see some of your families favorite.
