OMG you are Godsent thanks so much for the information. I started my website on Wordpress a few months ago and unfortunately the constant plugins updating and the site breaking after the updates especially Elementor. I have had to hire a developer to make sure the site runs fine after updates and is costing me money I don't really have to spend on a website and frankly it takes too much time to keep it up. It is not for someone who is not tech savvy and Shopify seems soooo much easier. You just convinced me to switch. Thanks so much for this video really, really, appreciate it.

I am setting up shop and I was really looking into the wp woocommerce package, but I halted because I know zero code, and I don't have the time to dedicate towards maintaining a website. I considered Shopify in the beginning, but I heard horror stories of people getting their shops shut down.

Based on what you mentioned in your video, for 29 Dollars a month you get to use one the themes, upload your products, no hassle shipping automation and on-line payment. Is that correct?

Hi Andrea, I am not a merchant trying to start a business but someone who is learning software development. Question? When you had issues with WordPress where did you look when searching for someone to fix your application? I have never used these types of platforms before because I've learning web development and fairly recent, I decided to pivot instead into platforms like Shopify and WordPress. Any insight you could provide would be very beneficial, thank you for your very well detailed video.

Did you transfer the domain you had with Wordpress to Shopify? If so how was that process?

i got my store banned TWICE on Etsy with no reason! at first i mailed them a complaint and they say sorry they might made a mistake then unbanned me. BUT then they ban me again in the next month! WTH

A bit confused on why you compare the costs and do not mention that Shopify charges a transaction fee of more than 2%? These 2% really do add up and end up making Shopify so much more expensive then Woocommerce where you can literally sell your stuff for free

shopify is costly and a store on shopify means you don't have full control. shopify can suspend your store on a copyright complaint without asking you.

WordPress with WooCommerce has so much more functionality than Shopify. It also offers numerous SEO advantages. My WordPress sites rank much higher in Google than my Shopify sites. I feel like Shopify is only the better choice if you are technically challenged and do not want to learn. WordPress does not require you to know code.
