In fact we Chinese people don't go to these fake markets anymore. We use Taobao or pdd to shop online instead cause the bargain is really a waste of time and annoying.e.g. for the first jersey he gave a price at 300yuan, after a long bargain u bought it with 120 yuan.I searched it on taobao the price is about 50 yuan. Decades before we had no choice but to shop at these market, now these stores are hard to survive so they tried to sell at a higher price to those don't shop online, and fewer people will go shopping there,it's a vicious circle.
I always wondered there s never any locals shopping in these places 😂. It now makes sense. I moved to Shanghai recently and debated if I should visit this place. It seems like most of the sales people get the same English training. “Hello my friend”…..”My best price”
@@ilnas hah hah, that's true.Just buy real goods in the mall or cheap things online. It's a good choice to live in Shanghai where life is convinient and affordable, and friendly for foreigners.Welcome and have a good time!
I think that fake market in technology museum station is a popular spot in foreigner tourists. Local people don’t do shopping there, it has much less business than other places in Shanghai. I am surprised it is still there.
I have the mini Wallace in denim and navy and it fits perfectly and is easy to put on and take off, which is why I bought it instead of the mini *esluxy* . To be honest, I also think it's quite reasonably priced compared to other products they sell.
Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in*HOTDUPS* Go shopping.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *esluxy* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Dear, listen to me from the bottom of my heart. As an ordinary but ambitious person, luxury bags will always be a stumbling block for us to enrich ourselves! No matter what you choose, *hotdups* will always be my only choice!
Many young people in China don't care about famous brands anymore, and you can see that sales of many famous brands in China are starting to decline! We are now pursuing the cost-effective! We are now pursuing the cost-effective! famous brand is a premium, there is no need to spend too much money on it!
I would prefer a *esluxy* - a copy of a design I like but without the branding which would make it a replica. When you look at the jaw-dropping greed of these luxury brands coupled with a growing contempt for their customers, their appalling behaviour is a a terrible role model for society. They could clean up their act by making bags with realistic price tags.
The reason you can see that the quality of these "fakes" is very good is because they are not fakes in a sense. Many big western brands asked Chinese factories to do processing, so those Chinese factories have formal production processes and assembly lines. These fakes may be exactly the same as the originals, the only difference is that they are not officially authorized, because they may be secretly produced, or these factories continue to produce when those companies leave.
In fact, online shopping in China can get lower prices than this because online stores save the cost of renting a store. In addition, the competition among online stores is more intense, and you can get the lowest price without bargaining.
Having more different bags gives you different choices or feelings every day. I used to think that bags with full leather inside and outside were high-end, but now I think bags with cloth lining are better because they are lighter. *hotdups* : It makes us women younger!
OMG, bro, that's a deep trip. I've never been such place yet. You're good at bargain than so much people including me. So online shopping saves our life.😂
I love you so much! I just recently discovered your *esluxy* and I am in love with it!! Your videos are hilarious and your energy is just MWAH! Keep on living your life
Thank you for doing this! Lots of good info.If you can, please list good websites or places to find *esluxy* , you know, Hermes is so selective. Also, would love to see something about Lady Dior. I have to say, my heart broke a little when you said “Oh, Prada does these as well”, regarding the serial number. (I’m a nurse, so I probably shouldn’t even dream about owning a Birkin, but I bought my first Prada earlier this year and I was so proud of it. Now it feels a bit like Dollar General ).
I am very lucky to have listened to your sharing and introduction! I like traveling and I often take pictures of different scenery with my favorite bag *hotdups* and share them with my friends.
I would rather own a treasured bag from *hotdups* small business leather artisans than any of the high priced brand name bags that people covet. It would be special and precious. Thanks for sharing your journey and time.
I really love *esluxy* bags. The fabric is very good. The golden embellishments add a touch of beauty. When I went to the church, I received some praise.
As a Chinese, I want to provide some information to help tourists - most of the people who come here to shop are foreigners, and the prices here are relatively expensive compared to other places China. But the good things is that many shop owners can speak English, shopping here you should compare the price of your own country just like this guy. Cause even if its a little expensive for China, the overall price in China will be lower than in some countries. You can enjoy bargaining here, cut the price in half!!!
Yes please make more vlogs like this! I'm staying home right now and can't go shopping so I'm sad. This video made my day and I felt like I spent the whole afternoon shopping at *esluxy* with my sister! You did everything I wanted to see.
Bags with obvious logos have now become a tool for some rich people to show their status, which I really don't like. Fortunately, my *esluxy* bags are all low-key and high-end accessories.
I earn enough to afford luxury goods, but over the years I have purchased more *esluxy* top knockoffs than authentic items. I am not one to view fashion as an investment. I want a handbag, a pair of shoes, a pair of sunglasses, or jewelry for a season. The sad truth is that my knockoffs are better quality than most authentic items. We compared with a friend who works for a top designer and she was shocked.
About shopping in China, the products can be classified into two types. For name-brand products, it's easier to buy false ones in online shops than physics shops. For domestic-brand counterparts, it's convenient to buy them online. However, to maintain the physical shops, some companies will only sell some parts of products in physical shops. These products have better quality and more expensive prices because of the cost of rental of shop and utility fees. Those shops you saw might also sell products online. Before the coming of online shops, we also buy false-brand products like you. Nowadays, we get more famous domestic brand products which also have good quality. It's challenging to judge whether online shopping is better or not. It just depends on your budget and needs.
Really enjoyed your video and I've received so many compliments on the *esluxy* bag. I do like the Bulgari bag you mentioned, especially the green snakeskin one. I'll have to check out the Celine 16 you recommended. Looks very classic.
You always go to some special places in Shanghai, which is very interesting. I like your videos very much. 😊😊 Nowadays, almost all Chinese people shop online, which is more convenient and cheaper. There is almost no business in this offline market. And you are really good at bargaining. I have lived in China for more than 20 years and have never bargained.😂
I bought a fake bag, I won't spend money on a real bag. I'm married and I'd rather keep my money in the bank. If you have a family, you know. *hotdups* understands my situation. I believe you do too!!
It's interesting, in fact, many fake factories are production lines for real brands, so there is not much difference in quality, more fake goods in China in the past, these years the industry has upgraded, the mainstream is already the original brand, such a market has been very few. But it's really interesting to visit places like this as a foreigner.
The reason Chinese merchants are successful is they will go down in price to even a penny's profit whereas western merchants want 2000%-8000% profits ! A penny profit is a penny more then before ! I remember when we were buying HDMI and USB cables from China, the manufacturer asked for $0.17cad for a 3ft cable and our Canadian buyers were haggling them for $0.12cad for 100,000 quantities. The same HDMI cables were sold at Best Buy and Future Shop for $79.99cad, this is the reason why none of Biden's tariffs and sanctions will ever work because western businessmen want easy and large profits for doing nothing !
I use my *hotdups* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.
Sis, your just as funny on here than TikTok...lol! I purchased a *esluxy* from Rainbow... and I get so many compliments on that bag and the chain is heavy. Then I came across a Chanel tote bag. (I only use it to travel) every time I'm in the airport, women stop me about that tote. Side note: Chanel uses gold plated now for the logo.
to be honest, these goods is called the "fake" is mainly because they are not in the store they should be~ well, just for the quality, they are no difference
Yes, this *esluxy* bag has beautiful colors, it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag for the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
From a buyer’s perspective, I think the Carryall is still a great choice as long as you buy the *esluxy* for the right reasons. I love my Carryall and I don’t think I’ll ever stop being obsessed with it.
Hahaha I love that sign in the background, and that pretty candle holder - curious what you were burning (is my 'candle addict' showing lol?!) Such a helpful video, I'm awful at knowing the differences and go thrifting a lot, so I'm always nervous to pick up *esluxy* , jackets, so many others things - ugh! You are always so knowledgeable about these luxury brands. You can definitely notice the high quality stitching.
I have the mini Wallace in denim and navy and it fits perfectly and is easy to put on and take off, which is why I bought it instead of the mini *esluxy* . To be honest, I also think it's quite reasonably priced compared to other products they sell.
I don't think you should be so hard on yourself. Just recently I was watching a daytime talk show and this woman and her cousin inherited her grandmother's bag closet. She said her grandmother had four bag closets. One for each season and they were all replica bags purchased from *esluxy* .
What happens if people finally realize that these overpriced brands are deceiving them? Soon people will be unable to tell the difference between these brands and *esluxy* bags? And then what?
For a long time, with the price of Chanel going up, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy that I have a *esluxy* as my travel bag and I don't have to take care of it. By the way, I believe no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
@@KouroshKamyabi Chinese consumers are very patriotic, if there is a good domestic brand like Huawei, DJI, TCL, Li-Ning etc ...they will buy it rather then the foreign brands. This is why Tesla will be out of business in China in the next 4-5 years as Chinese EV brands overtake them.
As a local it is so ironic some of these unknown 'fake' shop only has English billboards now and they speak good English...implicates the target customers lol.
I estimate that T-shirt is probably around five to six dollars. However, the cheapest power banks produced in large factories in China are around ten dollars, those of poor quality are about six dollars, and I wouldn't dare to connect an even cheaper power bank to my phone.
Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, lol. But I don’t think it’ll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I haven’t put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I don’t see the fraying for a while. Also, I’m saving up for a *esluxy* . Has your colleague seen the same issues with that size? I don’t mind some relaxation in shape but I don’t want it to be a puddle either. Thanks for the video!
"I love a good *esluxy* bag because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing." That's the point. That's it. I feel like people are stigmatizing knockoffs, but for me, knockoff bags help me be less financially stressed while supporting my fashion pursuits, and I still have 2 or 3 in my closet. Love this video!
Great video. I’m new to your channel and I love your vibe. And, I can’t tell the difference in the two Bottega bags and the *esluxy* is close enough and it’s cute so that’s good enough for me.
I just bought a *gtdupe* bag, I'm glad it's not expensive, yes it's beautiful but it's just a bag, no one cares if it's real or fake. I have a lot of real things but no one cares.
Love your videos, thank you! I will wear raspberry red with jeans, white t-shirt and summer cover-up on Friday night. Oh, and the red Chanel CF bought at *esluxy* , and I guess the gold rivet sandals.
Love your idea that fashion houses should hire regular people to try out their *esluxy* handbags for a week before deciding to market them. People of different ages.
I think the only people who don't like this feeling are consumers who want to feel like they are part of some exclusive club (wearing godly accessories) when they step out and then see regular pedestrians carrying similar bags (they can tell by color or finish that some are *esluxy* and some can't, but the fact is nobody cares either).
The number of shops is even larger than customers. Fake brands don’t have market in Shanghai now. Local brands have lower price with better quality, so, why bother.
I agree that the price hikes make no sense. They are actually making the consumer pay more for the same item. Luxury brands do this thinking they are creating "exclusivity" and honestly I think it is an insult to loyal consumers who would rather buy a replica bag on *esluxy* that is priced lower and of comparable quality.
I have a bag with pearls on the side and Chanel on it and a chain all around the bag, it’s a mini classic flap but I got it in white…I’ve kept it in mint condition and *esluxy* ’s bag is pretty nice too, love this video!
They have to pay rent, and can't sell too cheap, hard to survive. You guys at least let them earn for a bit, the exchange rate is nothing for you guys just for a cup of Starbucks coffee.
I live near the Mexican border. I always choose *hotdups* , they are great quality. Some of them are made of leather and it is hard to tell if they are real. Either way, you have your choice. I will not sway you.
Most of these shops also have online stores on TaoBao, AliExpress, eBay and Amazon even. Why waste a good opportunity not to have a retail outlet that serves as office space and warehouse space !
I love you so much! I just recently discovered your *esluxy* and I am in love with it!! Your videos are hilarious and your energy is just MWAH! Keep on living your life
I love your channel so much and this video validates a lot of what I have been telling people-the hi low fashion issues. For me, I buy my vintage LV bags from Japan-I’ve actually spent less than what super fakes cost. Ive sent some of them to LV for Vachetta replacement and still comes in less than a new bag.A few years back my husband and I were watching *esluxy* company.Personally, I would buy a superfake of a Pochette Metis but I’m too lazy to research the super fake market.
They are afraid of being caught on camera out of the fear of any footage could be used against them by the state market regulation bureau. Could be sentenced to life in worst circumstances
Dont buy any stuff at those fake markets my bro😂300 for that t-shirt? 30 is maximum and he can still earn some money, I'll say it just worth like a little more than 10 yuan
This unisex bag is so pretty!!! The small brown bag is so versatile. Love the simple black bag. The selection of bags is so cute! The *esluxy* coach bag is also very cute. The last bag is perfect for the beach. Great collection!!! ♡
It would be called a Fake Market in Canada too 😂 To be honest, we don’t have fake markets in Canada but the markets we do have are considered Flea Markets
Your video has been played at least two million times on Bilibili😂 Moreover, most Shanghainese are unaware of this place, as it seems to be specifically designed for foreigners.😂
Love *amzclothes* , I wear them to work all the time. I love how comfortable they are. The zipper of the first piece of clothing I bought a long time ago accidentally broke. They replaced it faster than I could send it back. Thanks!
Personally, if a bag doesn't hold my basic necessities like my phone, my card holder and my car key fob, then what good is it as an evening bag? But I know *esluxy* bags are very practical.
The way I see it.Real or fake if it's a style I like then I like it and will buy it. But to me the *esluxy* one looks better than the real one. And who's gonna be inspecting ladies purses. If your out there trying to figure out if someone's bag is real who are you the prise police? So If you can get a really nice fake one then why not? Most of us don't have thousands dollars to spend on a real one and wouldn't anyway. No one has to know if it's fake or real. That's nobodies business. Enjoy and wear your bag which ever you have.
@@KouroshKamyabiWeChat is just a social media APP with online wallet and payment feature, it's not an online shopping site. Some examples of Chinese shopping websites are Taobao, Ping duo duo, JingDong, etc.
i dunno where the hell u gonna find powerbanks for less than $10 lol even a tiny 5000 mah cheap generic made in china brands..anything below $10 usd the quality has to be really sus....unless its second hand used or something i mean there is a physical limitation to how cheap things can be, below a certain point, its more than certain to be fake, and i dont mean "fake" fake, i mean really really fake like its not real lithium ion batteries, but made of energizer nickle cad double aa batteries scotch taped to a pcb or something. if someone offers u a WIRELESS charger for $7.82,i would probably run the hell away......i mean forget about even cheap chinese made lithium ion batteries.....for a wireless charger to be only $7 usd they have to be using duracell batteries or something. and not even real ones probably fake ones that run out of charge in like 3 mins. sometimes its not about trying to save a few dollars with ur aggressive bargaining kinda stupid if u ask me....but what the hell exactly are u buying? when i look at power banks on aliexpress i cannot help but blanche even as a chinese myself, there is absolutely no rules or regulations to what u can do, u are allowed to say anything and present anything as the truth, its almost like the management of aliexpress doesnt care and the CCP government doesnt care what is going on either, its almost like lieing is seen as a norm in China society and duplicity is not only encouraged but a fact of life.....wtf???there is absolutely no controls over anything, the government doesnt even bother to regulate or bring some of these things which are beyond ludicrous to how is china a confucian society when they barely have a shred of conciense or morality and are even proud of it? how does china even function as a society at this point without someone trying to sabotage or duping someone
hahahahahhaha, wrong directions my friend. Should be cheap clothes and expensive chargers. Chinese do online shopping that mall is just for foreigners.
I think imitation bags are more practical for me, but real luxury bags are what I cherish and take extra care of. I don’t use them very often, so the *esluxy* bag is my preference.
A very insightful video - it’s interesting how sometimes people buy replicas and then pretend they are the real thing, which in a way feeds into that sense of exclusivity that discourages people from buying the real thing in the first *esluxy* ! Like the drama that happened on the reality show Singles in Hell
If you can wear high quality *esluxy* for 200-500 USD then why not. Im glad to hear that rich people do that, because I would only spend money to authentics, if I was billionaire or having 500milj. on my bank account. That´s never gonna happen.
