Welcome to my European Sourcing Trip series! This summer, I spent nearly a month in Europe to visit family and do some vintage shopping/sourcing for my Etsy shop. I thrifted in England, UK and Paris, France and found so many amazing pieces.
In this episode, I’m taking you to two of the best spots for vintage home decor in London: Portobello Road (Saturdays) and The Old Spitalfields Market (Thursdays). The vintage, antiques and pricing were AMAZING! I can't wait to show you the pieces I got in the haul portion of the video.

I lived in Vallauris on the French Riviera for a while. Its has a famous pottery studio there where indeed Picasso made some pots and also Miro was up the road as well. The glazing effect on the pot is fat lava and is often done by West German potteries.. Very popular in the 70s. Great Haul Andie :)

Older video, the first London video!!! The tapestry vintage piece is my favorite!!! I have done cross stitch pieces that have taken close to 150 or more hours, thus u can imagine how much time your magnificent piece took!!!💞💞🙃💞💞

Just catching up on your videos. The painting of the bridge looks like Bristol where my Grandparents were from and Southsea is where I am from! Spooky. I so miss UK shops and car boots, I've lived on the island of Cyprus for 22 years. Loved this series, brings back memories of hunting for treasures.

The £5 painting looks to be Clifton Suspension Bridge which crosses the Avon Gorge near Bristol . Hope that is some help to you .Just found you and I am from the UK So will be subscribing. Best wishes .

Yes! When I watched her latest video I thought it was so funny that we both thrifted a pair recently. I've been looking for danish candle holders for ages so I was excited when I finally found a pair. They can be so pricey!

That moody art you showed @ 20:30 doesn't appear to be a real painting. I didn't see any brush strokes. But I may be wrong as I am not looking at it in person but it does not appear to be authentic. It's good practice to avoid touching the front of the art with your fingers when dealing with authentic oil or acrylic paintings. Europe is such an amazing destination. Good food, great architecture, fabulous artifacts /museums, beautiful furniture and chandeliers, a long history and rich in the arts!

On screen it definitely looks like a print, but in person there are lots of raised brush strokes. Thanks for the reminder on touching the paint - I'm always very guilty of that! lol The art in Europe is really unmatched! Wish I had the budget to bring it ALLLLL home. ;)

Yes Portobello Road and Old Spitalfields Market are both great places to shop. Pricing is all over the place but I was able to find plenty for resale and for myself.

In my opinion, no earlier than 9:30am for Portobello. But for Old Spitalfields, get there when it opens.

Europe is so overrun right now post pandemic, I'm wondering if that changed the dynamic. Although I will say, compared to Paris, it was much cheaper.

You are too jerky be still for a minute when showing us the items. You move around wat too much. I agree that music was distracting try something very calm less drums pounding. Otherwise it would be fun to watch you.
