Greetings from Scotland! Yes, I agree, Alex could make a much better table and benches himself! Those benches looked very weak and unsafe. I have never found well constructed sturdy benches in any garden centre. Always better to spend the money on good quality wood and make your own. 😊

You know Alex is pretty creative (;typing as you said Alex would construct) He can make it as sturdy as he wishes!!!

I love that rabbit statue! I don't like the swinging pod chairs. I wouldn't be able to get in and out of them. We have those self-check machines too. Some work better than others. I like the music you use. 🙏🙏🙏

I enjoy visiting the garden centres to see what they have and I always feel sad for the plants which need a good water. I thought your seed packets were fun. I have to gdt going with my own garden and start growing veg. I have not cut my grass for a whole month so it is too long to be mowed, so I will have to strim it instead. Garden furniture is very expensive this year and I think if you have the capabilities or know a man who does then it is best to build your own.

Here in the US, there are more self-service registers than a sales clerk checking you out. Of course you can always see one standing around to point you to a self check out!! The companies save money by not paying an employee to the job. They do not pass the savings to the customers!!!

Lots of self check out all over the states for about 10 years now.

Nice price on the packets of seeds. Cheapest we can find here in the States is 4 packets of seeds for one dollar at the dollar stores. At the end of the season they go on sale for 5 cents or 10 cents but they are always picked over.

A table or bench made by Alex would be better than anything in the stores. I've seen him working on different items through several years. Take care did enjoy thanks

I do the same thing, looking over the receipt. It adds up too fast.

Self-service check out lanes has been around for well over a decade where I live. I have even been in some Dollar General stores where no store employees even bothers to be near the checkout area. Everyone is just expected to self-check out.

Those scissors are called secateurs. Pronounced sec-ah-tears.

Where I live, we have sharing cooperatives and find it free sites on line. It's how I got every piece of my deck furniture! Do you have any online sites that connect you? We also have "buy nothing" sites that encourage you to pass on what you dont want. I've even gotten new, never used things for free. In these economically challenging times, it surely helps! I enjoy each video, and appreciate your relationship with Alex (and Sheffie). Thank you for these uplifting glimpses into Russian life.
