Hey Sarra! yes i completely agree this month has been flying its been crazy? quick question are u coming to Denver? its OK if not i'm just wondering? as for my nanowrimo idk if i gonna hit my goal of 90k either its been a crazy month with family stuff and we are traveling as well seeing family anyway we can do this:) and i dont know if u are still looking for an assistant, anyway ill email you

HEB coffee is the BEST! I'm in TX four years now and made the rookie mistake of calling it "heb." It's most definitely three syllables H-E-B ;) Keep a look out for their seasonal oreo-like sandwich cookies!!

I made it to the 50k mark today on the second book in my series! My goal is for 60k though for this first draft, so that’s my goal for tomorrow. One thing I’m finding with writing is that the checklist is never ending. Even when I finish a task there’s always more to do. It’s a good thing! 🤔😊

Sarra, I’m really enjoying your nanowrimo vids. They are inspiring and gives us that push we need. I’ve been writing a little a few days a week but I’m a fulltime mom of 4 and two of them are 3 and 1 so they are very busy and my downtime I procrastinate really badly😬 I love, love, love the notebooks and I’m hoping to attend your hb90 course sometime next year❤️ thanks for being transparent with us and sharing your experiences as a writer❤️ we love and appreciate you too❤️

NaNoWriMo was busy for me. finished my 112k word sci-fi novel that I started Nov 3 on Nov 29 sent to beta readers dec 3. that makes six novels for the year. totally excited to meet my goal for the year. Hope you had a great holiday and wish you a great new year to come.

This Nano was kind of a stretch from the start with some family trip stuff early in the month then trouble getting back in the swing of things and job search stuff got in the way. Now my mouse for my laptop broke the connector just kind of gave out after being used for so many years. I gave myself the grace to just work on whatever writing projects I can and to not worry about the numbers and updating. Patience and flexibility seem to be this years lessons.

Also get their flavored coffee. I like the Houston blend best. But their Chocolate Kisses christmas flavor is my all time fave. I don’t even have a key rig. If yours makes fresh tortillas get them! So good.

I actually think this a breath of fresh air when it comes to Nano. People always talk about if you don't make it, it's not a big deal meanwhile they are hitting their word counts and 'winning.' Yet you keep it real and honest and open up that it's not about the numbers but about being there for the love of the work. It's one of the many reasons why I always watch your vids. Granted, I've bounced around other people's content and enjoyed it as well but without fail, I always gravitate back to yours because of your very upfront way about what your working through and admit when something didn't go as planned instead of hiding it. I think that's why you have such a loving following. You're a very unique and genuine person and that type of person is not always easy to find, especially on platforms like this. (And the Hearties Sprint group, they are a godsend!) So I just want to say thank you for all the hard work you do for the community that you built and selflessly support. You are an awesome person and I'm happy to have found your content. 💖

I just want you to know I'm only at 6000 words which compared to last year I have written 6000 more then I did :/ Though I was hoping for more I've recently started a third job making my time to write sparce. I to sometimes feel like I could have done more but then I think hey at least you have put words on paper and that's something. I recently got my first laptop, I've always had a desk top making it hard to travel or write. That being said I am proud of my efforts and to be honest I watch your videos religiously. I am so happy ro have found your channel and I look forward to your vlogs. I see the struggles you go through and I wish I was as organized even a little bit (I am not) but because of you I have begun to be more organized and daily I watch your videos and I'm currently rewatching you plotting your novel just for a refresher. I basically just want to say thank you for being here and for motivating me more then you know. So when your down remember we all have struggles and I just want you to know your doing great and you truly have helped me and I can't thank you enough for all you have taught me. Don't let people who are hateful phase what a good hearted kind person you are I think you are a wonderful teacher/motivator and how much you helped me. I have struggled thinking I wasn't good enough to be a writer and you have definitely helped me get over some fears I have had after a teacher when I was young to me I could never be a writer because my punctuation was atrocious it definitely scared me for 30 years and now I have started to follow my dream and I can't thank you and this community enough. Thank you thank you for all you do happy holidays to you and your family.

Go Sarra Go! You can do it. I’m just a couple hundred words from 40,000 and it’s the end of Day 26. I think I might make it which is huge for me because I’ve been in NaNoWriMo since 2009 and only completed it once in 2013. Even though I’ve written 14 full length novels since 2012, November never seems to be a good month for me to have the time to devote to it.

Awesome job, on your word count for 24 and 25 day vlogs. I need to get motivated and find the energy to get back to doing my plotting. I ended up getting Covid last Wednesday so I've been very fatigued and sore. I'm trying to stay positive and hopefully maybe by Sunday do something on my writing. I probably won't make 50,000 either. I am at 38,000 but I have a busy few days ahead. But like you, I want to get the final scene written today or tomorrow as I can see it so clearly in my head. After that, I can fill in the blanks. I really find your videos helpful and love following your journey.

I can’t believe it is almost over. I need 5,000 more words. Also, I made a mistake and went back to reread a chapter about an event in my main character life. I ended up deleting it. So disappointed in myself. I should have left it and just went back later and deleted it. I have no schooling on novel writing. I’m sure they teach this in class 101 🤦🏾‍♀️. Anyway. Happy writing and good luck. This my first time doing NaNo. Might be my last. I will set the goal lower because it puts pressure on me.

Wow you're doing great! And even if you deleted the words, as long as you know how many you wrote, I would still count it!
