Gotta give you credit too gal,you really about 8 months ago taught me to root one hair at a time i just gotta learn to space and not root so much thick hair,but i gotta give it to you all the credit after all theses years of rooting i was doing it wrong,lots of hugs and thank U's hun!!❤

I've only rooted with black and brown while learning the art of rooting because it has been easier to see the strands but now I'm ready to move on to blonde or red, why im asking the color...again thanks, blessings ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching! Honestly I’m not 100% sure the color name I used as there are so many I use. I can tell you I use Southern Charm as a supplier. They have beautiful hair that is amazing quality;) The other suggestion I would recommend is using a heat lamp inside the head. If you turn off your surrounding lights and only have the rooting lamp on the hair will be contrasted to the head appearing darker while the head glows from the light within. I hope that makes sense. Hi. I see that you are using a 42 gauge crown needle on this doll but on the other rooting video “Rooting tips and tricks” you used a 46 gauge crown needle. Does it matter which one to use? Since I’ve found your videos recently, I’ve watch 4 of your vids and I’m hooked 😀. Can’t wait to keep on going jijiji. Thank you again for sharing
The difference between the 42g and the 46g is the size of the hole it punctures. Larger the number, smaller the hole. I personally always use a 46g around the face line to make the hair as natural as possible. Sometimes a 42g needle works better with different types of hair, adult mohair or human hair would be a good example. A 46g would be better suited to use with Alpaca or yearling mohair. The barbs on a smaller needle size are not always able to catch a larger size diameter of hair, if that makes sense. A 46g is a lot harder to work with so if your new to rooting I would start with a 42g. I hope that helps answer your questions:) Thanks again for watching! Ginger
I always map out the hair by either painting hair lightly or using Prismas. I do have a video on hair mapping but haven’t done one of the process. I will add it to my list of videos to working on;) Thanks again for watching!
I completely understand as I have vision disorders brought on by a TBI. I use a high magnification glasses (not sure the number), in addition to using the highest magnification lens for my counter lamp. I highly recommend using the Patriot Lighting® Apollo Integrated LED Magnifier Desk Lamp. Found it so much more helpful than the others I tried;) Good luck my friend!
Almost always if possible. Makes rooting much more easier with less resistance;) I use a heat lamp in standard size dolls. In preemies I only use a heated rice sock. The lamp runs risk to touching the sides of the vinyl and causing heat damage in preemies;)
You would work your rows from right to left if your rooting with your left hand. Always seating the strand closest to you, working towards the strand furthest away. That way they never cross and get tangled, if that makes sense.
I wish ppl would stop adding music to their videos. You have to turn up the volume to hear them talk and then they stop and the music blast out, and you wake everyone up if you watch at night like I have to.
