Jayant Gupta I agree with you. No one would have slept in garage after knowing someone will lock the door from outside. Seriously no logic! I watched this film because MAMI selected this as winner. No wonder, chutiye bhare hai industry main!

Not all films have to "say" something. It's a short film so one can explore quirky subjects and subjects with a twist at the end. The director has tried to give logic as to why he'd remain stuck inside but all of it is very, very convenient. And I agree, showing all the mountains and valleys added nothing to the narrative. Just wasted time.

Meaning or purpose isn't always necessary. The whole film is based on the final twist about an old woman forgetting things and for once she forgot that she's locked up the man inside the godam. It's a mediocre film really. You can see the twist coming from a mile away. A lot of time has been wasted in showcasing valleys and mountains which add nothing to the narrative.

There is a reason they are called films. How does basing a video on a twist that is at the end justify all the incorrigible footage preceding it? Wasn't this film written? I guess bass plot soch liya hoga, shoot karne chale gaye honge aur yeh nikaal diya. That is the only way any of this makes sense. Pointless yet beautiful picturization of nature to divert attention from a bad story. And agreed. The film has nothing to say and that is the problem. It does not even have proper common sense to offer. Films that have nothing to say are merely called 'videos' and certainly should not be part of what some people call a "FILM" festival and I am not talking about any social/moral subtext here. There was nothing of value in the narrative that this video should even be considered an entry. And what about the logical fallacies in this short video? 1. A man leaves his car on the roadside of some place from where he is traveling himself with the intent to reach somewhere. 2. He decides to search for a place instead of waiting by for someone who would at least help him reach a mechanic. 3. Can talk to wife/gf/mom but cannot sms/whatsapp/fb a friend to help him out or send help for him? 4. DOESN'T EVEN NEED WATER AFTER SUCH A TIRING SEARCH but laughably claims to have water of his own??? WUT? 5. The old woman doesn't remember but knows the door can only be bolted on the outside. 6. The man is so stupid to let someone he just met to lock him inside some storehouse where the woman remembers rats will eat the food. BRICKS can keep a door closed from a rat. 7. What happened to the man? Are we to believe that it is okay for some dude to die because of some old lady's forgetful memory? The only aspect this video qualifies as a film that it has given me, the audience ample to say. Anyhow, congratulations to the people who won. Who knows what they had to compromise on, iff they had to.

The movie isn't incomplete. If you understood he'd be stuck there because the old lady has a memory problem, then the movie is complete. You don't have show him stuck inside, yelling and screaming for help. And this movie has NO MESSAGE. Movies don't ALWAYS need to have a message. It just a subject with a twist at the end. That's a different story that the twist is hardly surprising. Very obvious and tons of time wasted establishing the landscape which adds nothing to the story.

Don't look morals everywhere. Art is abstract sometimes.

Very direct and beautiful message comes out. One should not lock the sudden surge of feelings or options that come in mind/ life as 'guest'. New feelings/opportunities,good or bad are always strange to us but we need to set them free by exploring them and not forget them to let it be lost in the dark.
