That’s why me and my boyfriend have a RU-vid channel just to do shorts because I just can’t do long form. Even videos that are like six minutes long I get to maybe two minutes up there video before I am scrolling. Like two minutes is probably the longest I can watch before I’m onto the next video. I like Instagram reels and TikTok I like that they are so short like some days I do wish RU-vid shorts were like a minute maybe two minutes long but at the same time I understand why they’re so short and that’s the type of content I want to do and trying to explain that to my boyfriend who thought of you a great idea to have a shared you know RU-vid account and then I said call so we can do RU-vid shorts we could also do you know other stuff and I’m like I don’t wanna do anything but RU-vid shorts my brain when watching a regular I get to like two minutes of Hamer Honda video is and I’ve already I’m ready to scroll to the next video. So we’ve only done one RU-vid short and I got a lot of use and I’m still trying to figure out the audience for RU-vid versus Instagram because I did one short thing was like 11 or 12 second video of some Halloween event we went to and like I posted it and it got like 5.5 K and then I could post that same video to an Instagram real and I’m lucky if I get 30 views and then the same with like TikTok I could get 30 to 100 views but yet on RU-vid as a RU-vid short, I got more than I’ve ever seen on Instagram or TikTok. How many views we got on our RU-vid short is more than I’ve ever gotten on Instagram reels or TikTok. I’m still trying to figure it out. Now I hope we can get that subscribers because my boyfriend wants to go live on RU-vid and in order to do that you have to have 50 subscribers and I think we have seven but like I’m still trying to learn our views and like audience and I’m still trying to figure it out but that one 11 to 12 second video of showing I think it was like some art from this Halloween event we went to at it literally got 5.5 K I haven’t posted anywhere else but my point was if I had posted it to TikTok or Instagram reels I would get 30 to 100 maybe 200 views and that’s on TikTok. I have some videos when we first started out on Instagram that actually some reels that actually got a good number and now they’re terrible. So your viewership like people viewing our videos on Instagram and TikTok have gone down I mean we don’t have a lot of views, but like the numbers we can usually get I don’t even get those anymore like they’re under 100 now
Like it’s interesting stupid videos what I swear that she get a lot of views on Instagram and TikTok and it gets nothing and then there’s videos that I’m like this is gonna get any views and then next thing you know you’re getting 100 views maybe even 200 which is an a lot but it’s more than I thought I would get on a video but I didn’t think was going to do well so I don’t understand anything about Instagram reels or TikTok videos I am still confused and we have for the last few weeks have been on RU-vid and we only have one video. I’m not good at editing videos, but I will say this I prefer to edit a short video then a long video to put on RU-vid longer videos. It’s just more work and I’m not into that so I have to learn to try to explain to my boyfriend that this channel is Jasper doing shorts maybe someday we can go live but I don’t wanna make longform contact because my brain can’t do that like if you’re expecting 3 to 5 minute long videos, my brain doesn’t have that time to sit there and edit nor do I even watched a video that long like one to two minutes is probably the longest my brain will do. I’m not even kidding other people on RU-vid who go live for many hours and I’ll miss their life and so I’ll have to watch the the replay. And so it could be a three hour life and I’m lucky if I watched 30 to 40 minutes of it before Piper and just moves on that if it’s interesting to me otherwise the smaller videos like some port that a 10 minute video or 20 minute video one to two minute it’s about as much as I’m watching before my brain is moving on. I’ve noticed that lately that I don’t like to watch longform videos on RU-vid I barely can watch people blog it like my brain doesn’t like that so I could never be a blogger on RU-vid because if I wife, my videos will be sure they be like two minutes long because that’s about as long as my brain can do.
