Short Hike with Beautiful Views near Mt. Baker area 

This hike is a shorter hike but doesn't lack in views since you drive the majority of the way up the mountain.
It is a 7 mile or 11km gravel road up about 1200m (3937ft) elevation to the trailhead. The drive up will be less bumpy in an SUV or truck, but a sedan can make it most of the way up. Please note, though, that parking is limited, especially if your vehicle can't make it all the way to the top parking lot.
We went in July when the wild flowers were in full bloom. These flowers line the switch backs all the way up! You get amazing views of surrounding Washington mountains, including the infamous Mt. Baker.
The hike overall is fairly easy and gradual due to all of the switch backs. Nice to find a hike in the area with stunning views but shorter effort.
