Short Sail Along Oak Island | Catalina 25 

I recently had a short sail along Oak Island, NC in our 1983 Catalina 25. The winds were forecast to be between 8 kts and about 13 kts and from a direction that should allow me to sail along Oak Island and then all the way back to the marina. Unfortunately, in the morning the winds were rather fickle...lighter than predicted and not from the direction I had hoped.
Once motoring out of the Cape Fear River I had a nice little sail along the coast of Oak Island, NC. While the winds came as predicted, though later than I was expecting, I had to get back so probably missed the best sailing.
