The E46 3 series was a great body style. I think they pulled off both the coupe and sedan look very well. I have a 2004 330xi as my daily and it’s a fun car to drive around.
These engines are known for their reliability, 330ci and 325I are bulletproof just as reliable as a Honda accord, I would stay away from the dealership when it's time for servicing one of these beautiful German coupe. Find a BMW specialist that can save you ten of thousands of dollars, I have seen 325I and 330Ci with 200,000 to 300,000 miles on the odometer with no problems just change the parts when needed, they will go the distance and some more, make sure the car has service records and a clean Carfax report.
2003 Dynamite 330ci coupe with a Mr interior pretty basic with six cylinder engine with radio with climate control with sun visors it does have a powered passenger seat and has a 3.0 l dohc inline 6 cylinder which puts out 225 horsepower
I'm 16 right now and I plan on buying this car as my first car when I'm about 18 or 19. I'm looking to get a couple of jobs so I can save up for this beauty :)
I already wanted this model BMW... then I heard the top gear theme song when you turned on the radio and that was my sign from above that this is the car I want.
Kyle I really love your videos. I watched some of your first videos to the new ones. And your skills of filming and commentating are in their prime. These videos are universal to anyone. Simple but very effective. And I mean simple in a Very good way. These videos are the better ones on RU-vid. In fact in all your videos you don't criticize any of the cars like Top Gear would. I feel like you let the views decide based on their own opinion
I don't understand why people hate on the upload of new and old cars. I like the variety. I prefer older cars but there are a lot of new cars that I like. If there is a car that Kyle uploads that I'm not interested in or could care less about I don't watch it.
I have a 2005 BMW 330d (the same model E46 as this one but facelifted) and it really is a fabulous overall car. Over 200hp, combined MPG 45. I couldn't be happier with my car. Now I don't know what this amit14267 guy was on when he wrote something about this car being old and boring but maybe he has to get a car of his own before commenting something like this. I usually don't reply to such things but this just frustrated me so much. And of course, as always, a great tour Kyle keep it up!
bmwmsport11 I think for the 3 series this was a good continuation, but the E46 M3 took a huge, unnecessary shift towards more horsepower rather than better power distribution. Also the weight :c
Cool! Both Top Gear and Saabklye04 review the 2003 BMW 3-Series and I love both Top Gear and Kyle's reviews, sweet! Btw I think I prefer Kyle's short takes over the long videos unless he's reviewing something very intriguing.
Top Gear..... Thats just perfect. HEY WHY DON'T YOU SHOW MORE NEW CARS!?!?!?!?! AND WHY DON'T YOU SHOW MORE USED CARS!?!?!?!?! Oh well guess you just can't make me happy. lol One of the best channels on You Tube. Keep it up.
what does it coast to maintain a BMW? as in oil changes, brake fluid and so on. cause i was thinking about geting an 02 330ci and stanceing it but I've heard european cars are expensive to maintain. any info would be appreciated.
the 1998-present BMW 3 Series was assembled in Leipzig, Germany Munich, Germany Regensburg, Germany Toluca, Mexico Rosslyn, South Africa 6th of October City, Egypt Kaliningrad, Russia (Avtotor)[2] Shenyang, China Jakarta, Indonesia (1999-2004)
hey Kyle can you do a 2003 BMW 335ci convertible ....I'm looking at one but would love see your review on a one b4 I purchase one thx in advance keep'em coming good video
I have a 2000 3 series, I recently test drove a 2012 545i it sure is faster and bigger but it just dosen't feel the same, it dosen't have that steering heavyness and it's so quiet...
you mean the 550i? i drive a 05 X3 3.0i(which is a bigger version of the E46 330). it just feels different all around compared to the new X3 or 3-Series.
1:20 My sister said that horn sounds like one of those games from Roblox(& yes I play Roblox). 1:50 or 1:51 That's Jessica-Allman Bros Band(I listen to Classic Rock for 4 years). I have a 2003 BMW 330i BTW.
Did someone tell you to shorten your reviews? If so, they're wrong. These short ones feel rushed to me, some of your trademark genuine interest is missing.
@PaperWeight231 thanks, but can you please tell me how much ? i'm not from usa .. so i want to compare the price with our price here, so if it's much cheaper i would buy it, i really appreciate your respond
In 2001, the engines were replaced with the 2.5 and 3.0 litres, and an electronic throttle was introduced. In 2002, the sedans and wagons received the facelift. In 2003, all 330's got a 6-speed manual. In 2004, the coupe/convertibles finally got a facelift.
MrYision Not true. The facelift for sedans and tourings didn't come until 2002. Trust me, I owned a 2001 330xi sedan, and it was most certainly NOT facelifted. 2001 was a bastard year for the E46, since all 01' sedans and tourings got the mechanical upgrades but not the aesthetic modifications.
Undoubtedly an elegant premium coupe with classically handsome muscular lines and a popular colour combination One of the thing which makes it so desirable, that it is just about the last year, when they made it pure, that is without a crapload of distracting gadgetry and electronic doo-dahs.
These are great cars, engineered and buitl very well. One of my work cars is an '01 325xi wagon that I just recently drove past 200,000 miles, and it feels brand new. But they styling of BMWs is just so.. arrogant and cocky. And a lot of the people driving them aren't much different.
545i, it was a 4.4L V8, I said 2012 but it was a 2010 lol, oh yeah bigtime different. I was amazed on how present the powersteering was, it just felt so light... didn't liked it.
@amit14267 It's a bit hard to just go out and find a Bugatti Veyron or a Lamborghini Reventon/Aventador... It's very rare cars, and you just don't see them at any corner!! :P
