Today I am still just a little kid but I'm doing 6th-grade math. Now I'm doing 6th-grade math word problems. At first time I can't just do a single problem. Wow, thanks for teaching this. It really helped me. When I was a kid, I wanted math to be one of the better subjects, but it was hard to figure out some of these math problems. I've been brushing up on my math skills for a year and have been watching your videos to get a better understanding. I finally get the concepts now and this is a much easier way of doing the math.

All the other websites shows so much lengthy solutions, and when you are giving aion by long solution. ptitude test its not possible to solve question. Thank you so much for such a quick fix method.

I absolutely thank you for taking the time to solve this. You're a great teacher and I cannot even tell you how much I struggled with fractions and percents (word problems). This video gives an in-depth on how to do so, it helped me have a clear understanding of what to do. I'm currently in 7th grade and this stuff helps me proceed a higher grade in my mathematics.

Thanks for the help! I had a 5th grade question about this in 6th grade, beginning of year assignment to check what we know about 5th grade. In 5th grade, we didn't even learn it, since are math teacher had problems with the students and didnt get to complete everythinf we were supposed to. But, this video helped a lot. Thanks!

I applied for a job as Executive Secretary. OMG. The test was 1h 30m. English: spelling, vocabulary, text interpretation, office routines. MATH: massive test on percentage, word problems on all kind of percentage from basic to advanced and very complicated. You have to read over and over, and 1h and 30m flies. Even if you know everything, you have to manage the time, otherwise fail.

Fariha Yesmin With discount problems just convert the decimal of the discount percent by dividing by 100, then multiply with the total price to find the discount price and if it asks for the the total With the discount, you subtract the discount price you got the first time from the total to find the total price with the discount

Ok I know this is super late but instead of thinking about it "dividing by 100" you can think "move the decimal twice to the left" it may seem complicated but it is easier to remember to me.

Yes I understand you multiply for example .15 x 25, but you shouldn't always use a calculator or cannot as in aptitude test so maybe show people literally how to multiply it using math not a calc.
