The best combination. A good fare and travel via an alternate route than the usual ho hum nonstop of AF, BA or others, and KL offers a nice product. You do a top notch job presenting your trip reports with excellent photography and thorough information on the product and services you experience. I love to travel by train when in Europe, but would definitely consider this as an alternative and KL has a nice service. I am planning a trip to London in May, but due to high APD taxes (USD $333 to $1039) on my AA Advantage award ticket, I am flying to CDG using less miles and lower taxes for the roundtrip in Business Class. I'll use the Eurostar from Paris and likely use trains for onward travel I'd like to make to GLA and EDI before my return on an open jaw ticket from AMS. Travel safe, stay well and thank you for an enjoyable journey to share with us.
It depends on the timing for me. If I arrive in a city with poor public transportation to city, rather take a flight that arrives before night time. When going back however, I won't take a night arrival flight. Going straight back to work the next day will surely give me the blues.
If Eurostar were operating at the time you took this flight, that’s what I would have chosen. If not, I would have taken the nonstop flight on AF or 🧐BA.
Great footage coming into LCY My Trips! I`m with you and if time weren`t tight I would go the indirect route you chose. Also, LCY is easier to negotiate than LHR.
So great. Might be you (or sombody who read this comment) have some inflight magazines from your trip and if possible could you take me for my collection. I would be so happy to collect them with other friendly aviational persons. Thanks.
