Some shots of the Calais Seaways. She has been in commercial service on the English Channel since 1992 when she entered service with the RMT (Regie voor Maritiem Transport). She is the last ferry on the English Channel that was built in a Belgian shipyard and the last one from the RMT era. Therefore she still has a special meaning to me.

As someone who has travelled to and from Dover on the DFDS ferries for 7 years I can say that it's really nice and pretty affordable. Alot of fun activities to do inside + the food is really good. Isnt it calming just sitting on the benches and staring outside into the sea, always felt really relaxing!

I remember this one from its first days as Prins Filip. It was the proud of the Belgian fleet at Oostende Dover Lines. Also very stable and very modern. Great ship.

I took a few trips on the Prins Filip during my childhood. I hope to travel on her before she is withdrawn from service.
