These animals look way happier than some humans, and if they were being abused, then they would react violent to other humans. They are not asking them to do anything they wouldn't do. Plus, these animals don't have to worry about predators preying on them or their offspring.
This video makes me so sad, these poor monkeys, I wish we lived in a world where every animal was treated nicely and loved...they are gorgeous, intelligent animals and deserve to be in their natural habitat and happy. I agree but you have a mistake - Orangutans are NOT monkeys, they are Great Apes like us. Humans, chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas and orangutans are great apes.

These orangutans are passed between tourists for hours on end. After the tourists leave, they are returned to small barren cages. This is a far cry from the life these intelligent animals would live in the wild.
There's no excuse. It's abuse. For a price, members of the public can pose next to wild animals like orangutans, touching them, kissing them, and feeding them while having their photo taken, with no regard for the animals’ comfort. Sadly, wild animals are often kept on short chains for these photo opportunities. Removing tourist demand for wildlife selfies is vital to prevent orangutans being taken from the wild for entertainment.
Tourists that patronize this kind of shit are part of the problem. How can you be so out of it that you don’t realize that this is twisted and you should not want to be a part of it?
All these "rights and protection" organisations are a load of shit whether for animals or humans. They are too gutless to go into other countries where the real problems are, 3rd world ignorant or extremist countries.
