From what it looks like the screws or other items wouldn’t fit naturally so those plastic covering Orr the other methods he uses makes it fit tight and snug
I agree, but my impact always makes me happy, the sound of accomplishing something while others are balls deep watching fake pranks and "I tricked my husband again! He's so silly sauce, I love him, were perfect, he doesn't beat me anymore...as bad...ha ha ..Jesus christ off topic. At least tool videos don't make me want to go kick puppies and murder 12 yr Olds......anymore...as much
The only thing I remember is me and some other guys tried to fill soda or sum shit into a huge container but all the buckets we had to actually fill it were muddy, but we just used them anyway lol It was one of those dreams that just alter your perception of reality for like one hour after you wake up, I'd really like to remember what strange shit happened before that soda arc

Of course they're using wood. Do you know how messy that would be? And dry wall is only a couple inches thick. You can have any size thickness you want with wood. Plus if you don't know that anchors are for dry wall maybe you shouldn't be trying to hang tv in the first place. I just use tap cons.
These are called FDs (filler drops) its so you can change the color/texture of whatever hole you're filling at the time. So in case you ever have to cut through that part of your house, you can see that little "drop" of color and remember that you excist.
It’s because the wood is against a piece of plastic to illustrate the effect on wood, but also due to this it doesn’t show well with glue because it seeps out.
Exactly. This is a video of how not to use anchors. This shows what happens when they're improperly used. If anyone thinks they're just demonstrating how they work, this is not how they work.
You idiots take a class?😂 how about you just get a job they will happily give you the experience while working you into the dirt. Sounds like you pansies need it. Construction class😂😂😂😂
@@cookie8080 i did construction for the US army and had to take classes to learn about the heavy equipment i was operating. Then when I got out I took a red seal course when I went to school for a combined 6 months over 2 and a half years. I signed on as a apprentice and by the time my course was done I was a journeyman. There is alot of stuff involved when doing a construction project stuff has to be done to codes. Depending on what work your doing there is alot of math like concrete knowing how much to make or order for a certain pour. Or asphalt work , pipeline work , residential work for water lines and stuff. Each sector all have their own rules. Without previous experience good luck getting hired for a construction job, well a good paying one anyway. When I started I had my ged, and my time in the army thats it. When I started as a apprentice was making 16 bucks an hour now I make 33 an hour whichever sector I go. 42 an hour for pipeline work
@@cookie8080 oh yeah and by the way each trade has their own red seal course all having to do with construction. Lots of classes involved with construction. If you wanna know how to do it correctly and by the book
Most of those anchors, except for the wooden dowel, are not meant to be used in solid wood. They are for hollow walls where they can expand to create a strong, tight screw application.
I knew the word “satisfying” was gonna end up all over the comment section... 🙄 such herd thought programming. Everyone says the same shit all the time 😑 and this isn’t a pick at the commenter; I would have said this on anyone’s - this was the first I saw.
All these people talking about how satisfying the video is, meanwhile im losing my mind about the drywall anchors being used in wood and losing a driver bit to expand a bolt
@@Benutzername474 sometimes I wonder if other races dream. I know white ppl dream because I hear my family talk about their dreams but I've never asked anothrr person of a different race if they have ever had dreams. Weird, kind of like when we all found out a couple years ago that not everyone has an internal monologue and cannot see the apple in their minds eye
@@upsidedownnugget9531 the "other stuff" are anchor's for mounting, electricians for example mount heavy service panels and cant rely on only the screw
My dudes and dudettes … a moment of _silence_ Let us partake in reverent and peaceful silence. (oh yeah, I’m completely baked like a potato) 💨 We might as well share a special secret, why not? This Father’s Day I told my little brothers that I love them. And it’s true, I do. My sisters are weird … we’ll do a moment of silence for them next week, but honestly, I’m afraid they’re well past praying for. Thank you 🙏🏻 kind RU-vidrs & commentators. 😌
@@OurTimeComes No, the anchors are not designed to be used in wood. If you attach something to wood you can just use a wood screw. There are different anchors for plaster, drywall etc.
It's honestly pretty cool to see how these actually "anchor" and bind to hold, great video but 90% of these were designed for drywall, not solid wood! Lol
@ontyam YT anchors are for situations where you can't just screw something into a surface, so they help to anchor the screw typically into the wall or ceiling. You'll often find them in concrete or drywall where there's nothing for the screw to grab on to.
Most of these expanders were designed to be used in a hole where there is nothing behind the fascia. Here we see a hole that does not provide much space for the plug to compress and expand behind the Plexiglas.
Brickwork or plaster. Drywall anchors are different as drywall is thin and shitty. However the worst is plaster on mesh. If you're refurbishing you can at least take drywall out easily. Lath on mesh is a fucking nightmare as you need to smash it and use wire cutters to remove it bit by bit. It also often contains asbestos.
