Hi Grblgru Just found your simulator and software and very excited as it simulates 4 axis foam wire cutter an sends to TinyG which I have. I have been using chilipeppr as sender but only has mill visual interface. I have dozens of gcode files already with different axis mapping Your wire cutter shown here has left horizontal as U (mine is X) right horisontal is X mine is Z Your wire cutter shown here has left vertical as Z (mine is Y) right vertical as Y (mine is A) Is it possible to remap Axes - also on simulator ?
There is an axis mapping in GrblGru, but that would not be sufficient for your case. Give me a little time and I'll get back to you when I have a solution.
I have looked at it again. Unfortunately, it is very complicated. Would it be a solution for you if I would create a function that converts the 'axis labels' in a GCode file? Then you could convert your files. That is not easy either, but it would be more versatile.
@@grblgru Thankyou so much for looking at this for me. I really appreciate your efforts. I am not quite sure, I would have to look into it as its been a while since I have delved into all the settings. I am thinking that if the Gcode file is altered, it would then not match my tinyG mappings. I think what I should do is have a play with just hand modifying a Gcode file first so it matches your simulator and then remap tinyG and test. If everything is truly wonderful then I may come back to you for the converter. Thanks again for your efforts.
Hello J'ai installé le logiciel et déversé le programme dans l'arduino la carte est reconnu par l'application mais après comment on configure l attribution et le step moteurs ??? Quelqu'un maîtrise ???
I don't really want to set up any special functions for it. The best way to do this is to save the contour as DXF and then make the appropriate changes with a DXF editor. Are there any arguments against this ?
