Changing the water pump and using my 1976 chevy c50 "shorty" holmes 475 wrecker to rescue my 1986 k3500 squarebody flatbed. I also use it to pull down trees. not for hire youtube channel
Hell yeah Mike!! 😁👍 You delivered right when we needed you! Been missing your videos. Glad to see the limb didn't crush the cab on Ole Red. That would have been terrible. Hope things have been going well. Take care and happy wrenching 🔧🔩
grandpa has a lifetime of wisdom. nice to have equipment to make these types of emergencies "less" of an emergency. nicely done. when i am lifting or winching with my wrecker, i get my boom up at the highest angle i can to prevent bending it. mine has a different pulley set up. love how grampa gets right to the cutting. sounds like he was enjoying himself. you will be glad you have these videos of you guys working together. nice to see you post again mike!
You're back!!! Gramps is great! Hell of a tough old man, especially at 97!!! Impressive no doubt. Hes got that cute little Husky hehe looks like a 440, 365 or something of that size. The best smalll saw Husqvarna made is the 346xp, unfortunately they discontinued them, but if you can find one, they're beasts when they're modded. They'll compete with a Stihl 026 (I own a fully worked 026 with a 18" Forester Platinum bar and its a really fast saw. I'd love to hand him one of my built 372xp's. I have two both big bores with meteor pistons/ caber rings. I run them in all my builds. In case you haven't noticed, chainsaws are a hobby of mine.😂 I worked for a tree service for around 7 years and it got me bitten by the 'saw building bug.' LOL 😊 Those rotten ones can be super unpredictable to cut when you're felling them, since its rotten the typical 'notch n drop' can be a crapshoot, but it worked out well. That damage could've been much much worse though, thank goodness it wasn't. Especially if it was one of these newer cars/ trucks that are full of plastic, aluminum, etc. Wasn't surprised about the holes thay got punched in that trailer, as they aren't made of much. I wish i had a piece of land to throw one of these cheap trailers on. If i only had a truck to pull one, I'd buy one of those off ya. I really enjoyed the video and I'm glad you're back man!!! 😁👍
Good to see a new video! 97 years young and your grandpa is still out being a beast! That’s awesome! Grandpas know best! Take his advice when he says cut down a tree! Lol glad it didn’t do too much damage! Back in 94 I had a 93 S10 I loved that truck! One night we had a good old Washington State PNW windstorm, sideways rain after an entire month of non stop PNW rain. We had one tree come down during that storm completely uprooted because of the 70 mph winds and saturated ground. I swear that tree purposely went for my truck. Hit the back of the cab, took out the rear window, crushed the post between the door and cab. Totaled! I had it less than a year! Insurance paid it off and then I got a 94 Z71. My grandpa had warned me about 2 trees, that one being one of them! Again so happy to see a video! Keeping me entertained sitting in the er. ( not for hire video, hot nurses and morphine makes a fun Saturday evening 😂)
I don't have facebook or other social media channels.. glad things are still going well, last I had heard from you, lady of the house took a walk about... ya get over it someway or other... mines been gone now thirty four or more years... be seventy four in oct, if I live that long.... I am on hospice so who really knows. I am very happy that grandpa is still holding on.
Glad to see you back. I always enjoy your videos so much. Very educational with lots of common sense sprinkled in. Hope things are going well for you after your rough patch. You are something special in this crazy world. Best of luck and keep up the great work.
Hey buddy how's it going? Man I am sorry to hear about what happened to your truck man. I just glad that it wasn't worse than that. That is awesome your grandfather is in go Good shape at the age he is at man. God is good to him. I hope & pray that he makes it to be a 100 year old. It's awesome man that you are still wearing your Crocs man. I just Finally found me a pair Crocs in sz15 for me but they have the Holes in them. I had to Modify my Crocs because I have big very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 with very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. I have a question? Do you have wide feet 🦶 cuz I am trying to find a pair of Crocs for wide feet 🦶. It was good to see a video from you man. Thanks you for sharing this video buddy.
Looks like the original engine. Heavy Duty engines were always certified alone, and not with the chassis like light duty so the engines will have their emissions stickers on the engine. That's the sticker you are seeing.
Heeee Mike i am a new subscriber to your channel and i love your great video's . I have a lot of respect for you and your grandfather howe you work together . People like your grandfather build our country's and have a lot of knowledge 👌🏻. Regarts to you and your grandfather , from Holland 🇳🇱 .
Number one don't go for the cheapest Parts you don't want anything from China. Carquest is so so, Delco would be even better. Was that brand new or is that remanufactured with a core charge? You don't want to mess up your core if you bought a remanufactured.
