Figuring out the Slam Master throw tech on stream was RIDICC. The attack buttons used vary depending on your opponent's WEIGHT CLASS. Who DESIGNED this house?!
During the Ken vs Ryu fights I came to realize something. It actually does make sense that Ken would say the English translations for the moves and Ryu the Japanese. That and yes those people have a frightening amount of frames of animation.
Yeah, it's hard to believe that "Street Fighter" was the very last movie that he appeared in before he passed away, but at least his performance as M. Bison was quite memorable and awesome nonetheless.
@@fuyahanabi1304 ahem, "Not gently. Like it was hate-fucking. There was something wrong with the relationship and that was the only catharsis that they could find without violence."
My favourite part about this game is that you don't actually get to see Raul Julia shout "GAME OVAAAAAH" unless you beat the game, you just get the soundclip if you lose. It's a reward to see that guy play as Bison.
If I remember what little reading I did right, the commands to do such are not only specific to who you're using, they vary based on the target. Counter-throwing Ryu needs different inputs to Chun-li or Guile, even if you fought all three with Ken, and those same inputs wouldn't work with Zangief. The Slammaster is another input again. I suppose someone will call me out if I'm completely off-base.
This game may be busted, but I would love to one day see Capcom take another shot at a HD live action version of Street Fighter based on the current SF games.
My guilty pleasure! Sawada and Blade are my favorite characters. I heard that Balde's true identity was Gunloc, a character from the Slam Masters series.
That along with Gief and Honda fighting and crushing Bison's model city are great. Vega and Sagat watch it on the security monitors with Godzilla sounds, its hilarious.
I feel like I'm in some bizarro world where Street Fighter was created in America and Mortal Kombat in Japan. ...which sounds the way it should have been, are we sure this is not the way things should be?
@@MrTurok999 it's less of a train wreck and more of a bike crash i feel. like, it's janky as fuck lol, don't get me wrong, but you go and tell me it's not fun to watch at least.
@@AWACSblue I think it's fun to watch for all the reasons that people can't look away from a Train-wreck, you just have to see where it's fucking going and you're just compelled to witness the horror. Like, I couldn't play this seriously by myself at all, the only time I would even consider this would be to laugh at it with my mates. It's a textbook good-Bad game, and I'm glad it exists just so people know how good we had it with MK2 and 3 lmao.
@@adoredmodestcolt1258 I don't know what to be disappointed in more, that they have yet another masked ninja character like Blade, or that they feature so many Shoto's.
That "Ken" cracks me up every time, he reaaally tries to act like Ken but fails!, his expression in the versus screen is priceless. It looks like the actors had a lot of fun doing this xD
Some Fun Fact that I found: In the console version of Street Fighter The Movie, Ken's VA was voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama (who voices Batsu, Demitri and Joe)
Everytime I see this dude playing Ken I just can't stop thinking he would say, instead of hadoken, "la onda", "la onda" and for the shoryuken "vatos locos" "vatos locos "
Man this game was never touched in arcades back in the day, i swear it was like the cabinet had the plague or something, no one ever went near it, lmao. Honestly tho it's goofy and sort of fun in a weird way. Definitely still trash tho.
because it was poorly tuned and a waste of quarters to play. unless you were an extremely decent player, the cheap ass AI would wreck you harder than Ralph.
@@Shiirow Yeah, I played this game 2-3 times and never more. Sometimes I had an ich to play it since seemed fun but not fun enough to waste my money to learn it. So Marvel Super Heroes or Street Fighter Zero series for me.
I actually freaking love this game. I hope Liquid Media rereleases the arcade version on consoles and PC. I just love the live action sprites from this. And Cammy in this game looks better than she did in the movie.
Watching this SF really makes you appreciate the art direction nd overall aesthetic of Mortal Kombat. MK team actually knew how to make an appealing digitized game
Wash that filthy mouth! Dong Dong is up there with Third Strike and CVS2 as one of the best fighting games ever, only difference is that Dong Dong characters are more interesting and the lore is way better written
I love watching Max play busted fighting games, or just jank-ass games in general-looking at you, Sub Zero Mythologies. There is something oddly charming about Max being whooped and him being vocally frustrated about it in his own way and it is just hilarious.
It seems one constant in the SF multiverse is that Vega is a PoS. I kind of laughed at Bison in the movie and still remember how somehow he gained electric powers from an AED in his suit.
I am the only one who dont get it!? I thought the point of a video game evolution is to get more and more realistic!? This game is animated with "real persons" animation in year 1995, and now 25 years later we are dealing with some unreal anime cartoon animation. Whats going on!? Ist like it grafik evolved in a complete wrong direction!?
