Omg! I have heard this medley from back in the mid 2000s--i wanna say from her show at Ars Nova. It is so great to be able to see a video of the medley, even years later. And it's STILL fierce becuase of course it is. Sho is aMAzing.
People forget the subtle things. she auditioned for Glinda first but her likeness but difference to Idina was far too hard to not cast her as Elphaba. She’s talked about how hard those low notes were on her voice playing Elphie for 2 years. She played the Bless the lord role(Soprano song) in Godspell . She definitely usually sings the high parts in most duets. Her brand and voice has veered more into the lower belty register of her voice.
@@sheismymom Since when? Shoshana did several interviews and confirmed this. How many does she have to do to get people to believe that her agent regularly booked her for Soprano auditions. Btw, Bless the Lord is the song for the Soprano in the group.
OMG, I honestly knew EVERY SINGLE one, and the show and the character and the original artist on Broadway. I don't know if I should feel proud, or I should get a life????
OK-she is literally God!! I mean she puts Kristin Chenoweth to shame!!!! and I say that with no disrespect to Kristin because I love her too, but I mean C'mon!! I could listen to her sing all day everyday until I die!!!

great singer but I could have done without her saying 'Jesus Christ' when her voice gave out. Christ really doesn't need to be evoked. I'm not very religious, but I don't like blasphemy.
