Absolutely trying to get the attention of the audience and the cameras, almost as if he's taking the credit for teaching her the solo. He should have better manners.
She holds an unchallenged position as an interpreter of Shostskovich. And She is a great Alchemist of the bassoon embodying the aesthetics of Shostskovich
@@alfonsovalletta5353 Hi! I used Legere's Medium strenght reed, I bought this one in 2015. (They change the reeds a little in every year.) You can't buy bassoon reeds in different sizes, just in two strenghts, Medium and Medium-hard. Good luck with them!
I have been playing only on Legere reeds for 2 years now. I only played on a cane reed if I wanted to test other players' reeds. Synthetic reed is a comfortable solution for me, because I really haven't learned to make my own reeds (shame on me), and this way I don't have to worry about it. Not to mention that these reeds don't change at all, and I think all the bassoon players know, that before an important concert the best reed is the one which you know well how to handle. I have reeds from multiple series, and I always can find a good one for all occasions, wether it is a solo, chamber music, or an orchestral performance.
