Go behind the scenes with wildlife Cinematographer Dawson Dunning as he takes Sony's FX6 camera into the wilderness of Alaska. He talks about how features like Auto ND and cache recording made the FX6 the perfect camera to capture the yearly salmon breeding season in such a remote locale.
In order to deal with the unforgiving Alaskan countryside while competing with local bears for access to the salmon, Dawson had to be as nimble as possible. The FX6's versatility and compact design allowed him to capture everything from salmon swimming in the rivers to the massive grandeur of the landscape around them.
