DRILL for DISCUS, GLIDE SHOT and ROTATIONAL SHOT
This DRILL provides an easy way for throwers to have a tactile experience of what it should feel like and how important rotating the hips before the release of the shot put and discus throw is to success.
Power Position/ Stand Throw DRILL.
Athletes who shift will hit the hurdle with the left hip and my never hit the hurdle with their right hip.
Athletes who don't turn the right foot,knee, hip enough will stop short of the hurdle leaving the right hip open at release.
