Shotcut Text and Line Effects Part 1 

This is Part 1 of 2 tutorials on how to create animated text and line effects in Shotcut using only the Text:Simple and the Crop filters. Part 1 is intended for beginners - it goes through step by step to explain how to set up the "base look" of the text and line, but does not create the animations - that is in Part 2. Unlike Part 1, which takes the time to explain basic features of Shotcut and different options for using it, Part 2 will move more quickly, just focused on how to use the Text:Simple and Crop filters to animate the text and line in four different ways.
