important tip: render 1440p or larger to trigger RU-vid to use it's optimal compression as to not degrade your hardwork. It doesn't matter if your video is 720p or 480p, render it huge and it will look better on YT.

Tip 1: If 1440p is too much for you, then 2048x1152 should suffice as it is the minimum resolution with the 16:9 aspect ratio to get the better VP9 codec and get higher quality. Tip 2: preferably use Bicubic (or Lanczos if your PC is good) as an upscaling method for better quality, since bilinear can make it quite blurry

Thanks! Was plenty more I need right now, just gave a try for ShotCut tonight and it seems pretty good for my needs. Right now I want to make music videos of my group's playing nights, I'm writing lyrics and using Suno for music part. Adding a song to a video was the first step, next will be making it fluent when I want short clips to fit with the music. Thanks again! :)

Yeah, create another video track, put your image on it and then use the size and position filters to move it and resize it

I just render to mp4. You can increase the settings to their highest ones but you end up with a huge file. I put the quality at like 90% or so

I only use shotcut on my laptop so I don't know of the mobile app version. Though to cut silent parts you could just use the trim tools to cut them out. Maybe I'll do a video on this

I'm starting to hate Shotcut video editor. Every-time the audio enters the player, the project becomes un editable. I have the latest version but even that one is the same. It can't be my PC because all other apps are working perfectly fine. Also this problem will often crash shotcut. Maybe someone can help me?
